Show me two guys who are equal in all skill areas yet vastly different sizes......

Obviously retirement. Why spend years and years of your life, working, sweating, bleeding for a team and community - being publicly criticized and fantasy-traded by every two-bit plagiarizing sportscaster in town and every fan who wanted Tkackphuk instead of you, only to come - after years of broken bones, concussions, stitches, rehab after rehab - within a game of achieving hockey's ever-lasting glory, only to have that torn away from you by a corrupt, deceitful old-boys group who control the NHL and will never allow your franchise to win? Obviously retirement.

Good signing. Has shown well in his limited AHL games so far. Still somewhat of a longshot to be an NHL regular imo, but nevertheless he should strengthen Utica next season and a strong farm team overall is better for the franchise. Will look forward to see what he does in the AHL playoffs.

Hedman. Best all-round defender of that group, period.

4 hits in 11 playoff games - kid's obviously soft. He's a BUST. Trade him now. How would he ever cope vs. the Jets and their 'Heavy' game. Clearly we need Moller who hits and can play Heavy - he's the kind of player the Heavy Jets would've drafted ....LOL!

LOL - the old, "You can't get rid of a whole team so why not get rid of the whole coaching staff?" bs. How does senior management get off the hook with the club missing playoffs 7 out of past 10 seasons while being a cap-limit team or thereabouts.

Sign a couple reasonably priced UFA's to support the developing core (just like last summer essentially) and for the most part let the kids play as much as possible next season. Save the bulk of our new-found financial flexibility for future signings (2019 UFA class) when it will be more clear what our specific needs are. After this year's draft and another season from our prospects we'll have a far better understanding of what we really have in the likes of Virt/Dahlen/EP/Lind/Gadjo/Demko/2018 draft class/etc.... People forget we're going to have sign 10 of our own RFA's within the next two years barring any potential trades - one of them being BB who is due a HEFTY raise.

Not saying playoff hockey isn't intense but I see Nashville, TB, VGK doing just fine relying on mainly speed/skill.

It's 2018, not 1972. They got no dibs on anyone anymore. They can take their given odds like everyone else.
