  1. You're right. It's clear that even if the NHL comes back, they won't allow fans this year so they should be refunding us ASAP. I was a full season ticket holder this year but I won't be coming back. I don't blame the Canucks/NHL, but it's clear that the paranoia will cripple live events and I believe that many lower level leagues will be finished and even some NHL teams will be gone.
  2. I will admit I haven't been listening to sports radio very much but you'd think all of the issues we're talking about on here would be really the biggest discussion. What happens to the NHL when only a couple thousand people are going to games? How can a league like the CFL even survive. I'm still waiting to be paid for a pair of tickets against NYI on StubHub. Doubt that happens.
  3. If they don't come back this year, I won't be coming back. I've lost my job and I've had to pay back people for a couple upcoming games. This goes beyond whether or not I come back, there will not be a market for people to buy season tickets to begin with because there is no economy, and certainly no resale market. Right now I'm not interested in credit for next season, it's irrelevant.
  4. Interesting. Would be a nice perk if they make it.
  5. Prices are reasonable. I'm glad I can stagger out the playoff payments as they go, I don't think they'll go far and I think even making it is a stretch now, but I'm glad I don't have to pay upfront.
  6. Managed to get Hughes. Might make the trip over from Victoria.
  7. I know as of a couple weeks ago, there was maybe 40-50 tickets left on Ticketmaster for the Leafs game and now there is almost 1000 left. I don't really expect to make a profit on my games, but I really don't expect to lose money on a Leafs game and not to mention when there apparently wasn't any inventory, and now it's flooded back again on Ticketmaster, not the resale sites.
  8. Resale prices for the Leafs game have cratered in the last four-five days. About a month ago there was almost no tickets left on Ticketmaster and now there is nearly a thousand tickets left. I won't even be able to break even to resell the tickets. Pretty insane considering the opponent.
