Lol at the Oilers - TSN 1260 here talking about how we overpaid on Myers and how Holland has to be cautious and fans need to be patient as it will take him about 3 years to make them competitive - Rebuild 3.0?

Is Myers overpaid, certainly. And We probably overpaid Benn a bit too, but when all is said and done, on paper, we've kind of insulated Hughes with better options than we had at the end of last season. We added qualities to our backend that we were lacking last year, and hopefully the sum of all those moving parts will be greater than the individuals.

Can't stand McGuire either. When it was suggested by someone else on the panel, that Quinn Hughes will improve the PP this coming season, he basically gave a "pfft", saying we don't know that. VAN never seems to get the same treatment or respect from the media. Seeing Panarin sign for $11.3 or whatever in NY, I hope another team offer sheets Marner $13.
