  1. Yeah, no points in the second period, what's with that?
  2. Don't forget a silver medalist who might have been his team's best player...and a third liner player who was one of the top scorers in the Olympics.....
  3. Naslund is not giving the Rangers bang for their buck, Burrows and Kesler are. Burrows can go back to the third line next year, drop to 15 goals, and still be well worth the $2million he will get.
  4. Definitely makes more sense this way, thanks! This thread should be brought out every game night.
  5. Because it reinforces the fact that the original poster knows nothing?
  6. I can't believe this topic is still being discussed. It ranks up there with the previous ones about whether we need Kesler, Ohlund, Bieksa, even Luongo. Burrows is one of those 'small parts' of a machine, that when broken, screws up the whole operation. Any team, any team, that wins a cup, has players like Burrows, the unselfish ones who will do anything to win, and refuse to give less than 110%. The guys who are still refusing to back off when your down three, or in the third period of OT. The tandem of Kesler and Burrows could be the new version of Draper and Maltby, but I guess those two don't mean that much to Detroit, do they?
  7. Confirmation of what I said.
  8. Don't take this personally, but you obviously know very little about hockey if this is your opinion of Burrows value to the team. The fact you don't think he can skate speaks volumes for your vision.
  9. Way to go FIN, as always you show the way! Sounds like an awesome event, maybe as captain of the winning team you can convince them to have it here one day.... that would be cool!
