1. Gudranson with the clear win....
2. Never played hockey in his life.................would you consider the WHL competive?
3. He could be sent back to Calgary, but the WHL trade deadline was Jan 11th, so he couldn't be traded to Kelowna.
4. Burrows salary is $3m next year, his cap hit is still $4.5m. This would possibly be attractive to a bottom feeder team looking to get to the cap floor without spending a lot of money.
5. He spoke at our Chamber of Commerce luncheon today, and to quote him "we won a lot of games we could have lost last year, so we have to work hard to move ahead next year"
6. Maybe he would sign in Vancouver. He played junior A in Penticton.
7. My guess would be Bure
8. They had 3 years in a row, ending 3 years ago. Last year they picked Draisaitl 3rd overall, and two years ago it was Nurse at 7th.
9. The 9 games only applies to 18 and 19 year olds, Shinkaruk burns a year off his contract by playing in the AHL.
10. Actually, it was Alek Stojanov, not Antoski.
11. Ted Taylor?
12. Carter couldn't get into the box fast enough, guess he didn't want to face Bieksa.
13. A gutsy effort by our boys tonight...
14. On the IR with Dubinsky
15.

If you feel Rodin's line was "the best of the night", that is your opinion and you are welcome to it. I thought, for an all "pro" line, they were weak. Sweatt was okay, Schroeder was fair, and Rodin was an ineffectual perimeter player. No doubt in my mind that 18 year old Jensen and Archibald were better. On d, Sauve looked pretty solid. Erixon had a good first period, then fell apart completely. None of the others impressed in any positive way. Hannay had a decent showing in his fight. Honzik played like a nervous 18 year old. He did make some excellent saves, but let in some real clunkers. Kind of like Luongo, Jr.
