    He didn’t quite work out. Injuries probably highlighted that but I actually expected him to be a bigger part of the bottom 6 than what he was. So no harm done either way. He’ll probably have a lot of fun playing on the Devils team so happy for him.

    One day was all Toronto, yesterday was Ottawa and today is Boston-day (we dont enjoy that so much ofc)

    What do you guys get out of complaining all the time? Glass half empty much? Why not try and look at the positives? Every deal we made this season has upside to enjoy as well.

    Pretty much what could be expected in return for Schenn. A massive teamguy and kinda sad to see him go but good value still and we needed to move players from our d with the performance we have put up the last couple of years with basically the same d-lineup. If he comes back then great but we need a new look on the backend anyways. Pretty sure Myers is gone before camp too.

    There are almost no trades left to make on TDL at this rate. Pretty decent return for both team on this one.

    I for one wan’t to see what he can do here during the rest of the season before setting any expectations in my mind. I’m pretty sure he’ll get a chance on just about every line here and that is a good thing. The team will have a pretty good picture about where he is at before the summer. The potential is there and I’m excited to see what he can bring.

    How can one not like this trade Maybe it works out, maybe not. But the potential is there. Lockwood was ok here but definitely worth the ”risk” and the pick is a really long shot anyway. Great news!
