Pretty obvious why they want to shut this down. Everyone will have to get their Canucks fix on Social Media, Social Media generates dollars. This place doesn’t. My post count is low but I’ve been getting all my news here since the start. Someone needs to make their own forum and replicate this one. That will show the establishment that shutting this down was a bad move.

Hiring a coach with a losing record. Hiring assistants with limited coaching experience. Are Rutherford and Alvin stealth tanking? Or are they hoping for a bounce where we win a number of games and pick 12th overall, Ya that’s be good. Clowns.

Absolute train wreck of a season with inept management. Bringing in a new coach for what? To try and save the season? Give me strength! Pretty much everyone can see how bad this management team are. Throwing away opportunities to make this team better ( by not trading Miller at the TDL last year) Alvin and Rutherford- get the hell out of our team.

I have absolute zero confidence in this management group. Signing players when they should have moved them (Miller) Resigning players when they should have traded for a pick and gain valuable cap space (Boeser) Lowballing Horvat who is a fabulous all rounder which every team needs and should keep. Trading a second round pick for Stillman (This one should make everyone realise how bad they are) They have dug themselves a huge hole in which they are now forced to trade Horvat and Kuzmenko. If they don’t get a 1st, top class D prospect and a 3C for Horvat and a top prospect, 1st or early 2nd for Kuzmenko they need to go.

I’m not sure how you think we are going to sign Horvat AND Kuzmenko.

Well, you never know what this management are going to do and I have absolutely zero confidence in them. Firstly, they had a huge opportunity to trade Miller last year for picks/player that would have sped up the ‘retool/rebuild’ They f’d that up. Secondly, they have another huge opportunity to trade Horvat and I expect Kuzmenko as well. Bo should get grade A prospect, 1st round pick and a young 3rd line C Kuzmenko should get either a grade A prospect and a 2nd or a 1st and a decent prospect. Again, opportunities to push this team forward a bit. If they don’t pull the trigger on both of these trades (I’d also get rid of Boeser as well for a pick to gain cap space) then this management deserve to be chased out of Vancouver. Should have traded Miller and Boeser.

Next up. The Winnipeg Whales.

Pretty damning that non paid CDC-ers can see what’s wrong with this team than paid professionals that run the joint.

There’s a reason why coach after coach get fired in this market. Players not accountable and an owner who refuses to rebuild = middle/low finish every season.

EP, Quinn and Demko would be the only ones I would keep. Oh and Horvat over Miller but we know how that’s gonna go.

Signing Boeser and Miller has crippled this team. £14 mil in cap space where we could have made moves. People will say hindsight is a wonderful thing but the majority of posters on here would agree you get anything back for Boeser and Miller should have been traded at last years deadline.

If Glass is still there at #5 I'd take him in a heartbeat! There's a chance he will be as well. Whatever the outcome we are getting a very good player to add to the prospect pool.

Young and elite very rarely get to FA these days. Canucks got the best fit they could. I'm happy with this and I think the Canucks may surprise a few teams next year.

I'd rather have that big bodied forward who can play physical, scores goals (he has an NHL calibre shot already) than Nylander/Ehlers come playoff time.

I'm guessing you're not following Utica if you think Gaunce isn't doing very well.

I just hope Benning and Linden don't trade up for the sake of putting their stamp on the team. I would just keep that 6th and push Anaheim for Etem 10th and 24th or the Penguins for Pouliot 1st and Bennett in the Kesler trade.

Can he fix the mistake by MG of giving Daniel 7 mil a season for four years. Absolutely ridiculous decision. That was him thinking how he could be put on a pedestal by some Canucks fans because Daniel had a good December. The Sedins were never gonna leave this team, never! But he went out and gave that contract. He's gambled with a player who definitely hasn't been the same player for a while now. The new GM better get a better supporting cast than we have now as the twins cannot manage a lot of minutes. That was a clear Torts error not realising the twins cannot manage lots of minutes. Enough to get him fired? I don't think so.

I still totally blame MG for this mess. People can say his legacy was getting this team one game away from the cup but he inherited huge components of that run. He messed about with the identity of the team so we have none. Until injuries hit us in that final we were easily the best team in that series, then he changes the make up of the team to 'get bigger' When you want to 'get bigger' these players still have to have a great level of skill. He was plugging those fourth lines with rubbish. Luongo/Schneider situation mess Manny situation. Mess No top six linemate for Kes for two years mess Signing the Sedins on a 7 mil contract mess Probably a lot more to add but I'm kinda p***ed right now
