  1. I guess when you disappear for a couple of years things are bound to change...unless it's CDC!

With the team losing the traffic here will drop off as will some of the less intelligent discussions being brought up.

Legend is the operative word! I've never done anything bannable, but it's true, I'm not terribly well liked here.

I remember the Sultan of Sarcasm.

  3. The fact that this thread is still here makes me literally giddy. That is all.
  4. Leaving with a sick feeling in my gut.

      Leaving what?

  5. I get why it happens, but every time Stealth nukes a thread that's just getting good, a little part of me dies.

  6. And I know what I have to do now. I gotta keep breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring?

Tide goes in, tide goes out. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that

  7. I'm going to try sitting at home for a couple weeks to see if my boss will give me a $200k raise.

get back to work you ***** lazy ass!

  8. I should have negotiated something like that. I was lucky to get an inch of topsoil on top of all the debris the builder was too cheap to have removed properly, along with some serious clay. It took a LOT of work to get things healthy enough to be able to grow flowers and plants. I had a successful summer with my flowers (except roses, I can't seem to get them right). I'm planning next season to do a vegetable garden, but I don't know the first thing about it, so I'll do much research through the winter. On a whim I planted an avocado pit, and there's actually a plant growing now, but I'm sure it will die. This isn't exactly an ideal climate for it. Make sure you give that rhubarb lots of room, it gets a little out of control. Are you right in Seattle, or in a suburb?
  9. Sorry, I was unclear. I meant cost per square foot.
  10. PS - I hate you. I'm having trouble with the math. I don't know how the builder can even make any margin at a price like that. I would have thought the cost to build would be in the $150 range for a decent house. This is $123 INCLUDING the land? WTF!? I keep thinking I have to move to WA and just commute every day.
  11. This is always exciting. When I bought mine from the builder it was half done (I live in one of those neighborhoods where your house could easily be confused for the 200 other houses that look exactly like it) so I was able to pick all my flooring, finishing, etc, but I wasn't able to get any changes in the layout. In hindsight, I wish I had gone a different route, but maybe in 6 or 7 years I can move on and ACTUALLY build a house where I can pick everything from the ground up. The question I have for you is what is the market like in Seattle? Is it depressed, or is Seattle like Vancouver in the sense that it is sheltered from what's going on in the real estate world nationally?
  12. Hamburgers! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast. What kind of hamburgers?

  13. Alright, I won't bother you about it any more.

  14. Look, I've always liked you, but take a hint. I'm not going to talk about it. It's her story to tell.

  15. Deleting my comments? Was it really that bad that you need to keep it secret?
