  1. Does anyone know, approximately, how much NHL GM's make? (on average)

  2. Did we win this trade?

Yes Bonino was slow as f. Skated like he had sandbags on his legs. Condemning slower than Weber and can't play defensively. Only bad part is Higgins is here.

Yes, I was against Bonino, but upon my 'awakening' as of late, I've come to accept Bonino as a real good player. I think he'll do really well in Pittsburgh. That's not to say we lost the trade at all. Everyone won this trade. Sutter is a real good player as well and he'll fit right in here. I firmly believe all parties won, especially from a business standpoint.

East plays a more wide open skating game I think Bonino plays decent but not good enough like Condemning because of both their poor skating.

  3. Anyone else watching the ESPYS tonight? Pretty amazing so far.

Kessel did win, he got out of Toronto and now gets to play with Crosby.

Toronto. Mario better sell now because that team is going into the ground.

Definitely Pittsburgh. Friggin Kessel was good with the Leafs. He's going to be amazing with the Penguins.

  7. Saw Mad Max last night, excellent film...also anyone else think Kevin Bieksa resembles Tom Hardy?

Thought The Road Warrior featured better acting, and that was The Road Warrior.

^Or y'know, they're just an incredibly talented hockey team.

^What they do right doesn't negate the things done wrong that received only wrist slaps or got sweep under a rug. Players flock to US O-6's to benefit from their perceived league advantages. An over-seeded DPS with those strong O-6 allegiances is a small example of that. Good team, partially enabled to increase their odds in the salary-cap era. NHLOA's so-called 'best' raise more eye-brows here. Believe the 'hawks are a purely untainted entity if you wish. I know better.

  9. Geez that's crazy. I hope he takes the appropriate time off to make a full recovery. Good thing he didn't play, sometimes NHL players think they're invincible. Wasn't there a Bruins player a few years back that played with a punctured lung? That to me is outrageous. There are more important things in life.
  10. This may be a shot in the dark, but does anyone know where I can find an example of a player contract for the NHL? I read somewhere that Bertuzzi said that his NHL contract compelled him to take orders from his coach. Would like to see how this was worded. Thanks! (Thanks for the recommendation Hugor Hill!)

The Club may also terminate this Cotract upon written notice to the Player (but only after obtaining waivers from all other League

clubs) if the Player shall at any time:

      a) fail, refuse or neglect to obey the Club's rules governing training and conduct of players. if such failure, refusal or neglect should constitute a material breach ofthis contract.

      (B) fail, refuse or neglect to render his services hereunder or in any other manner materially breach this contract

You might want to look into contacting one of those player agencies / law firms and request a contract template. If you tell them it's for a law school project (though you probably shouldn't tell them it's about the Bertuzzi lawsuit) they might be willing to give you one.

  12. Can anyone direct me to the list of Prohibited Drugs in the NHL? Tried to find it online, but no cigar. Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks!
  13. Jets won that trade.

      Jets won the trade now*

Buffalo wins next season* and the season after* and after*

Kane on McDavid's wing - he can become the 50 goal scorer he said he was.

Also, with Byfuglien and Ladd gone in 4 years, Buffalo will be on top the Easy Conference

Kane a 50 goal scorer with Buffalo? Ahahaha.

Yup. You have to win to win a series, and that means your next game would be a loss (game one of next series) so you'd lose the series.
