  1. Based on what I've seen so far, it doesn't matter who wins this series. If Columbus picks up where they left off, they will make quick work of either.
  2. I don't know who this Vacant guy his, but he's having a great series!
  3. Yup. Don't know why they stuck with him this long. At least guys like Czarnik and Quine will put some effort in.
  4. Evander Kane - 5GP, 1G, 3A...41 PIMs. Even though I have a couple good Vegas players, I sure hope Sharks can complete the comeback. Would be nice to keep this beast as long as I can.
  5. Penguins are looking for cap space. So it's very unlikely that they'll deal McCann or Simon, who are both signed for cheap for another season ($1.25M and $750K respectively). Murray too, as he's still only $3.75M next year.
  6. I wonder...is it possible to trade back for a guy you retained salary on, and then trade him again with the retention removed? Perhaps as part of a 3-way deal?
  7. I doubt they'd just give Rust away for a cap-dump. He scored nearly 20 goals in back-to-back years. But they might consider something involving a cheaper replacement player, like Motte or Granlund.
  8. Can't wait for the rest of the album - drops May 17th.
  9. Seriously? Didn't we beat them in 5? Took them to game 7, despite a ridiculous amount of injuries. I think even if just Hamhuis stayed healthy, we would have won that series too.
  10. That Jack Johnson contract looks even worse than the day it was signed. Letang and Schultz both fit the type of player we need, but are both far too injury-prone. We have enough of that already. You know who might be a good fit with Vancouver? Bryan Rust. A bit overpaid at $3.5M, but brings speed and tenacity.
  11. They'd have to change the name. Charlene's Boy-toys?
  12. They prioritized paying Bieksa, who fit their new direction more. I'm not saying Ehrhoff > Bieksa, or that signing CE would have been a great move in the long term...but in the short term it was a big step back for the team.
  13. Coulda, shoulda, woulda... The following players were available out of Minnesota at the deadline, but we didn't get a suitable offer for them. They could have made the difference for you playoff teams: Leo Komarov - 1 goal, 1 assist, 4 PIMs, +1 Austin Watson - 1 assist, 4 PIMs As for the players who we did move, one GM in particular is benefitting greatly: Ian Cole - 3 assists, 6 PIMs, +5
