    I could see Rafferty making the team and letting Stetcher walk. $3m vs $700k and we need to save our pennies. Being a RHD only helps Rafferty's case as well.

    In summary: IN: A back up, 6th round pick OUT: Markstrom, Podkolzon, Beagle, Roussel, 2021 1st round pick, 7th round pick Alright guys let's talk about team chemistry while we gut the team and make ourselves worse. Then hand out "comfortable" contracts to guys who floated and not address the glaring issue of our weak defense. But hey look at all that cap room baby.

    You are clueless when it comes to value. You have to be trolling because every trade proposal you make is god awful. No GM is taking spare parts for a top tier talent. Would you trade Hughes for Greenway, Stalock, Eriksson Ek, Kunin and Hunt? Of course not.

    Buffalo doesn't trade their franchise player for a package that doesn't include either Pettersson or Hughes. Would you trade Pettersson to Buffalo for a package that doesn't include Eichel or Dahlin? Probably not.

    I don't know what you're smoking. How could this decision come quicker for Green? He isn't stubborn and it's not a hard decision. Green made the right choice by parking Loui's ass in the press box. In what world can you call Toffoli a burden for his line when that is basically the definition of Loui these days. Is this bizzaro world?

    You guys are dreaming if you think Virtanen will land us a 1st. He'll probably fetch a 3rd, maybe a late 2nd if we're lucky. The other general managers aren't stupid. They know we are hurting for cap space and can't afford him. We can't afford salary back. We have no leverage.
