I don't understand the people on here blaming players for playing to win. Some of the most ultracompetitive people on the planet and you expect them to try and lose every game? If you want to blame anybody for not tanking, blame the management and ownership. From what we saw tonight, if Demko had not gotten hurt, we might be in a playoff spot right now.

I agree. McDavid is the best player I've seen since Mario Lemieux. Better than Crosby, Ovechkin, Jagr, Forsberg, Yzerman, Sakic etc. -

Pettersson is the only reason to watch this team right now. Imagine if we had won the 2017 draft lottery and picked Nolan Patrick or something. -
I think it should be noted that Quinn has more assists than any other defenseman in the league since his rookie season.

A part of me wishes that we had lost that one 5-0 rather than giving up a 3-0 lead to lose 5-3. -

Petey is legitimately playing the best hockey of his career. Such a turn around from the first half. I regret ever doubting him.- 347 replies

Thatcher leads the league in Shots Against and Saves. For my money, he's the goalie who has had the biggest contribution to his team's success in the entire league. -
That's why I said I'd be happy.

I will be happy with a Scott Niedermayer type of career from Quinn. Offensively I think he's already better than Scott, but he's starting to round out his defensive game. A couple of Cups with a Norris or two somewhere in his 20 year career seems attainable for Quinn.

I haven't posted in CDC for years now. But Petterson had made me so mad that I came out of hibernation just to post this request. This kid held out, missed training camp, and then became our highest paid forward. His play so far this season has been nothing short of atrocious. He's shown no energy, no heart, no skill, and no sense of urgency. He's a liability at this point with all his turnovers and hurts the team more than he helps. I propose that the Alien reaction be removed until he gets back to a point per game pace. Thanks

I was both looking forward to, and dreading this episode. Alas, the Starks brought this upon themselves. One stupid decision after another. Honour only gets you so far when you play the Game of Thrones. 1) Ned Stark doesn't tell Robert on his deathbed about Cersei and Jamie. Robert could have ordered them all arrested while he was still alive. 2) Ned doesn't take Renly's offer for support. Trusts Petyr Baelish instead. 3) Robb breaks his promise to wed a Frey girl, pisses off Walder Frey. 4) Robb sends Theon back to his father. 5) Robb executes Rickard Karstark, loses half his men and is forced to go back to the Freys. 6) Sansa tells the Queen about her father's plan to break her engagement to Joffrey and return her to Winterfell, tipping Cersei off about Ned's plot. 7) Arya wastes three instakills from Jaqen. 8) Catelyn arrests Tyrion, starts war. 9) Catelyn sets Jamie free. Karstarks get angry, Roose Bolton gets his chance. Yeah basically it's all their fault for being a bunch of idiots.
