  1. That drives me crazy, though not as much as the cool guy in his seat reclined, sticker laden tuner car 1 flash lane changer....
  2. what cars have you owned?

    1976 Honda Civic 1978 VW Rabbit 1980 BMW 320 1987 Camaro IROC Z 1987 Chevrolet 1 Ton Flat deck 1990 GSXR 750 1981 RX7 GLS 1990 Jeep YJ 1992 Toyota 4Runner 2003 Jeep TJ 2002 Toyota 4Runner 2010 Yukon Denali Hybrid 2014 Ford F150 2017 Corvette Stingray
  3. Green interview with Rick Dhaliwal May 19th

May or may not contain 50% actual meat
  4. (Article) Vancouver Sports Bar angers Canucks fans

I bet most the people bitching about it would be all on board if they were living in Alberta and a bar did that to support the Canucks. I am first and foremost a Canucks fan, but I am a hockey fan in general, but these businesses rely on people watching games there and with our team out, you do what you gotta do to keep business up
  5. HELP! How do you take out water spots?

Go to someone like Speedy glass, they use selenium oxide. It is power, but you spray the window with Windex, sprinkle some on top and scrub away. I actually bought some from them (wasn't cheap), but it takes off everything. I had a weird haze on the windshield and this took it right off.
  6. The NHL has proven time and time again that (even though it is a business) that they are not there to protect their players, even the stars. Sadly I think it would take something like Sid having to retire to really put the underlying issue under the spotlight to protect the future stars like McDavid. Not saying Sid should retire (I would hate to see that), but having a family member go through multiple concussions and 2 years later still getting some symptoms, it's a scary thing.
  7. Possible they are the ones that have already had multiple concussions....
  8. At the end of the day it's just a game , and he is financially set for life, so why risk it? With how many he has had and as much as it sucks to say, I would rather see him end his career and be healthy rather than not risk anything. You only get one brain.
  9. (Poll) Who should be the next head coach of the Vancouver Canucks?

I would prefer Crawford, but I think you are right. My take is that they go for Green since he is the current coach of the new players coming up (primarily Virtanen), given that he was a high pick and they need to make sure he stays on the same path. Not saying this is the only reason, but it seems they will want someone that the kids know and are comfortable with.
  10. (Poll) Who should be the next head coach of the Vancouver Canucks?

I would like to see Crawford, with Greene as an Assistant
  11. Goldobin v.s. Virtanen

I think they both need to be here to get experience. We are not a playoff team, so would like to see the kids get a chance to both succeed and fail at the highest level. If we get blown out so be it, but the kids will know what they need to do in order to make the club full time next year.
  12. If he is heading to Ott, I it's Lazar coming the other way Sigh, i read Ott as Ottawa
  13. This statement is very disturbing. How can they say in one sentence he is remorseless, then release him saying he can manage his fantasies. What is the penalty for the parole board if he can't and doesn't manage them?
  14. RODIN called up

I am really hoping it get Megna off the PP....
  15. Before you buy all the gear, I would look at some skating classes (power skating, skate mill and so on), it will teach you the proper stride first. Then start some stick and puck, which will allow you to continue to work on your skating while getting you work on your hands and shot. If you can skate, you will enjoy it a lot more.
