  1. You mean to tell me hockeyfeed.com got it wrong? Again? Shocked I am!
  2. One of the biggest tax companies in the world.
  3. Miriah Reitmeier - local singer - on the spectrum.
  4. Nothing confirmed. Again, stay away from the crappy blogs and serial retweeters. canucksdaily, hockeyfeed, Rob Sampare - looking at you. and for those others who mass-deleted their posts - you are cowards.
  5. I think people are getting ahead of themselves. We know this: There has been nothing even close to an announcement about Ferraro being the Canucks #1 TV analyst. Dave Tomlinson is leaving the Kraken for an "opportunity in Canada." Kevin Bieksa has confirmed he will be back on HNIC> That's pretty much it. Anything else is pure speculation. Stay away from the crappy blogs.
  6. Lol four pages of people complaining about something they have not seen."Why does the whole world hate us?" Because you make it easy for them. I've seen the doc. Its not bad. If there is a main theme, its not crapping on Vancouver but examining internet shaming and its consequences.
  7. So was his press release about John Garrett.
  8. The point you clearly missed is Sportsnet could not pay him anything close to what he makes now. He has no 12, 10, 8, 6 or even 4 day road trips right now. And there's the wife thing. Also, the word was jillions.
  9. Ferraro is making jillions working for ESPN, doing one game a week. No chance.
  10. He never used the word "retirement." And he's still working for Sportsnet. Something wrong here people.
  11. Of course there was negativity. FFS the team was dead last in the NHL in attendance twice in the 80's and 2nd last two other times. Not going to games that were sold out the first several years is the most potent form of negativity.
  12. Relax. They haven't done anything like that in a decade. Its on after this commercial break.
  13. And what about those poor fans who paid good money and have to sit behind the ads on the glass?!?!?! /s
  14. Move the goalposts as much as you like, but only a handful of teams make more from corporate ads/tv than tickets.
  15. Lol. That is an entirely acceptable answer. But please don't leave us hanging on the outcome.
  16. Well, in a word, no. Digital ads give the NHL (read: your team) the ability to tailor the ads to a specific audience. The ads you see on a Canucks regional game (home or away) are tailored to a BC audience - Park Hotel, the Province, Fasken. The visiting broadcast has ads tailored to their own market. The technology is infinitely flexible - and that means a lot more revenue for the league and teams. Certainly much more than what half the live arena audience would bring in.
  17. You're kidding, right? Only TV viewers see the ads.
  18. When most other teams are better than your team, bad ice is an advantage.
