So what can we be looking at as far as roster players?

I don't expect Dahlen to play in Utica if he doesn't cracked the Canucks.

I can see Burmistrov eventually being sent down along with Virtanen, Goldobin  and possibly Boeser for forwards.

On D, I can see one of Weircoch and Holm being sent down and a positivity of Cederholm coming back over.

If that's the case, I can see a line-up of...

At the end of NCAA season, I'm really hoping guys like Gaudette and Lockwood can join in time for the stretch run and playoffs and perhaps guys like Dahlen, Pettersson, Palmu, and Juolevi can join after their Euro seasons end.

    Not a bad line-up

lineup looks great,i think the comets can make the playoffs and do well.the alaska aces folded, the canucks were only with them for one year but the travel was a problem so there wasn't a lot of call the canucks have kalamazoo again for their echl affiliate.should help utica and give the echl guys some hope.

Don't think any home runs but Gelinas and Weise were decent players after picking them up.

Not a Bryzgalov or Kunitz but decent.

Of interest, Marty St. Louis was waived by Calgary and NO ONE claimed him.   He was bought out and then signed as UFA with Tampa Bay and the lovely irony of a certain playoff series should not need reminding to anyone in Southern Alberta.

chris higgins was a waiver pickup in 2011,he helped with that cup run.

  3. i missed the last game but checked the game stats, eliminian had 15 tackles and i think the guy closest had about 6.this guy keeps getting better and bighill this year too.

We could have had a whole slew of sons, but instead, we managed to get only 2: Pettersson and Gunnarsson. Dallas managed to nab 3! Here's the list:

    • Lias Andersson, picked 7 by the Rangers - not only did they steal our only Coach whose last name starts with a 'V'...
    • Marcus Davidsson, picked 37 overall by Buffalo
    • Jason Robertson, picked 39 overall by Dallas
    • Jacob Bryson, picked 99 overall by Buffalo
    • Michael Anderson, picked 103 overall by LA Kings
    • Drake Batherson, picked 121 overall by Ottawa
    • Kyle Olson, picked 122 overall by Anaheim
    • Jacob Peterson, picked 132 overall by Dallas
    • Sebastian Walfridsson, picked 151 overall by Washington
    • Olle Eriksson, picked 153 overall by Anaheim
    • Jonathan Davidsson, picked 170 overall by Columbus
    • Dylan Ferguson, picked 194 overall by Dallas
    • Filip Sveningsson, picked 202 overall by Calgary
    • Anton Andersson, picked 206 overall by St. Louis
    • Croix Evingson, picked 211 overall by Winnipeg
    • Matthew Hellikson, picked 214 overall by New Jersey

it sounds like my icelandic family reunions.

They have a Calder Cup winning coach still being paid have they not? They would struggle to do better than Desjardins but I doubt they have the balls to approach him after the cluster-ck way they treated him in Vancouver.

oh man, still infatuated by WD i see.he should be coaching pee wee.the guy thinks he should be gm,coach, head scout and team sports psychologist.don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya,WD.

all i wish for this draft is a player that will make an impact and can play in the top 6... so far Benning's drafting ability in the 1st round is nothing to write home about.. already wasted 2 first rounders in virtanen and mccann and passed on players that had far better NHL success.. passed on Tkachuk for Juolevi last year.. Juolevi can still be great but watching Tkachuk developing and playing nicely in Calgary hurts while Juolevi looked average in the OHL last year.. imagine if we drafted better with our 1st round picks the last couple years.. we'd be so much further ahead in the rebuild

i'm glad they didn't draft tchuck, overhyped tough guy that really ain't that tough like his dad.would the canucks draft brad marchand's kid?

No but the Buffalo Sabres just signed an agreement with the Cincinnati Cyclones so there is one less team available.  Here is what I found for list of current ECHL affiliations.

looks like its between adirondack, jacksonville and fort wayne.tough decision.fort wayne has the name, adirondack is in new york and jacksonville is the place that produced the jackson 5.

Apparently he got whooped by Chris Van Heerden in a sparring session.

In my opinion he just takes the L vs Floyd and cashes out. Too many good fighters in and around his weight class.

    Errol Spence Jr

    Keith  Thurman

    Danny Garcia

    Shawn Porter

    Amir Khan

    Kell Brook

    Manny Pacquaio

    Miguel Cotto

Terrence Crawford (this guy will fight you south paw or orthodox)

All roughly within McGregors weightclass and all guys who in my opinon will kill him in boxing.

    MMA is another story though.

he's going to get a boxing lesson from floyd,no way he stands a chance with marques of queensbury rules, yeah,he'd win.i'm not saying he'd beat any of those guys but i wouldn't be surprised if he tried someone else for $100,000,000.unless he takes a whooping, which is probable.

Biggest fight ever will be the Mcgregor v Mayweather.

sad but true, the other week i thought of something no one has pondered yet in the media that i've seen.maybe conner macgregor is going to begin a pro boxing career with this fight.that would be shrewd as hell,he would make a lot more money for himself if he really is great at boxing.even if he loses but shows well he'll rake in the viewers being so controversial.

It's always been my sense that college hockey was more difficult to score in than the CHL, especially if we're talking about the Q.

you're probaly right, college has 23 year old men playing though.there are 16 year olds in the Q.i could be wrong about mitts i'm basing my opinion purely on the fact he was playing against teenagers.he could be great too.i think it's too risky to use a top 5 pick.

He chose to play there because he wanted to help his team.

“I’ve played with a lot of those guys [on Eden Prairie] since I was 5 or 6 years old, and my youngest hockey memories are all with the same guys that will be part of our team this year,” said Mittelstadt, 17. “I owe it to myself and to them to go back and play one more year.”

He also tore it up in the USHL as well, playing at a 1.33 ppg pace.

thats cool,it's still a risky pick because no one has been drafted that high out of that league.the canadian junior league's have always been regarded as far tougher league's,i sense jimmy carson 2.0.

I want to like him. I like the idea of a crafty shifty center. I just don't see why he's rated so high. I just watched 9 mins of tap in goals and dominating highscool goalies. In the 9 min highlight reel I was impressed by like 5 moves. Surprisingly most of them were playing for USA.

he's over rated,if he's so good why is he still playing in high more yanks, they'll just pull a kesler and ask to be traded to a yank team where they'll get the attention they deserve.
