  1. Wow 4 shutouts in 30 games for Eriksson, his play has gone under the radar a little. Good stats too 2.57 GAA, .914SV% especially for a rookie AHL goalie... Looks like we have another stud goalie on our hands
  2. +1 for the laugh. They might just sit him the rest of the season so his fragile body doesnt break down again. We dont want another summer without being able to buy him out. Now how can you not do a booth for erat deal? Similar caphit and term, same buyout price, both doing nothing on their current team, both had success in the other conference. How is this not a relative win-win trade? Can only go up from the bottom.
  3. No word on London captaincy yet? Bo had a solid tourney. Maybe I was expecting a little more offensively from him but he was rock solid in D-zone and on the PK. Very heady player, makes the smart play and is always in the right spot. Def needs to work on his footspeed to be a solid NHLer. I thought his linemates weren't much help, Mcdavid wasn't ready and Reinhart is very similar to Bo, makes the smart play but not a lot of dynamic offense from that line. Reinhart and Bo both really good passers.
  4. We've had the same problems for the last 3 years, especially in the playoffs. Lack of GOAL SCORING. Yet somehow every season Gillis seems to do nothing about this. After 2011 cup run, we should have signed more scoring... Instead we signed Marco Sturm. After Sturm failure he compounded by trading skill (Sammuelsson) for a speedster with no finish (Booth). Then after 2012 playoffs it was obvious we NEED a sniper... We sign Garrison and held onto two top tier goalies. When we finally traded a goalie we did a future move instead of a win-now move. If this really is our window to win (which it is), why not make some win now moves. In reality some of our draft picks in Gillis regime should be making a difference now, but we have no one who can step up from the farm and score. Gillis needs to make a move NOW for a scorer or two. Yet at the same time Gillis gets owned in trades and thats scary, let someone else handle the trades and bring us some gdamn offense!
  5. Love this thread, will follow it closely. Thanks a lot, much appreciated! Wouldn't mind seeing Rodin or Sweatt on there if possible, their rights are still owned by the Canucks. Who knows if they have a great year, maybe they come back. I think Sweatt could work in a bottom 6 role, as a checking-speedster, who can chip in a goal here or there.
  6. happy b-day!!..again :P
