  1. Exactly. I think people forget that Sbisa is only 24 or something. You'd rather have a 22 year old Corrado who's development has been stunted, and apart from the 2013 playoffs, has done nothing in the NHL, over a 24 year potential top 4 Dman who's arguably our most physical player?
  2. Mind you he could have been traded, you can't be upset at management for sending Corrado down. He didn't deserve a spot on the team. He should just be given one because of his waiver status? Please.
  3. Bingo.
  4. Dorsett?
  5. JB has always said how we wants players with character, which is why he's taken some of the players he has in this draft. Pilon has attitude problems and I think the decision not to draft him was pretty simple.
  6. Weight can always be changed for the better (i.e. building muscle) if you're committed enough, which as a professional athlete I'm sure he is.
  7. Good find. Haven't even heard of this guy. Elite prospects: "A clever, dexterous forward who plays with jump and jam. Possesses the speed and cunning to create separation, and has the individual skills and puckhandling ability to make the best use of any time and space earned. Works hard in the corners, but can get rubbed out when not careful. All-in-all, a speedy, skilled forward who can carry and direct plays with ease." He's 5'11, but for someone who's also from Prince George, BC, and is ranked 124th among NA skaters, I really think this is a guy we should take.
  8. We'd need to acquire a top-10 pick to get him though.
  9. The thing that people have to remember is, although a prospect might not be valuable on our roster, doesn't mean they wouldn't be extremely valuable on another roster. At the time being, there is really no place for Lack and Jensen on our roster, but other teams would love to have them. And if it's both of them to either San Jose or Buffalo for a first round pick, I certainly think it's possible.
  10. Just by looking on the NHL.com draft prospect rankings, Barzal is ranked 11th among NA skaters. He could very well go earlier, but I wouldn't doubt him dropping to 9th.
  11. That's true. Kenins is probably ahead on the depth chart, and it certainly couldn't hurt having Shinkaruk down in Utica for another year of seasoning. To be honest though, if that's the roster we have at the start of next year, I'm going to be disappointed. I want at least a couple more young guys!
  12. If Benning works the phones and finds out that Barzal will be availble around the 9th pick, I think he should trade with San Jose. We have a lot of goalies, and they need one. Give 'em Lack + Jensen and in return we get their 9th overall. That way we might not have a 2nd rounder this year, but we'll have two firsts.
  13. I think Higgins will be traded for either a 2nd round pick (ideal) or a third round pick (most likely).
  14. Alright, thanks. Yeah just by looking at the numbers and everything, it seems like he would be a really good call-up. Hopefully we can see him next year.
  15. Isn't he ranked 24th by Central Scouting?
