  1. Elite is a stretch. He would need to show this level of play for a few seasons before he gets that title thrown his way. I am glad he is finally showing his potential. This is what Gillis saw in him when he traded Luo. Marky, at the time, was the “best goalie not yet in the NHL”.
  2. Tenderloin steaks with fried potatoes and green beans. Apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert. J Lohr Cab Sav to drink. warming up the bbq right now. mother in law is frying the mushrooms and onions.
  3. Completely agree about his voice, there is something about it that draws you right in. Thats one of the first things that either draws me to or keeps me away from certain artists/bands.
  4. I am far from am emotional guy, but this one cuts deep into the heart.
  5. First time I heard him was on a Colter Wall album (a cover of Fraulein). Two seconds after hearing him I had to look him up.
  6. Brought my daughter (11) to her first game last night. She has also seen MLS and CFL in the past couple months. I asked her how the games stack up against each other. Her answer below. keep in mind she doesn't really understand any of the sports either. She always asks why did the play stop, why did the guy do that, what happened there? Not annoying for me, she’s just needs to learn the nuances and rules to better appreciate the games. the Whitecaps game was boring, nothing really happened and they left early. Whitecaps were losing bad (went with my father in law). the Lions game was a ton of fun because she was With friends from school, but the game seemed slow to her. To much time between plays she said. Her friends made it a ton of fun, and she got on the big screen which made her night. Good crowd interaction. the Canucks game was the most exciting game. Lots of action, the game keeps going without much interruption. She wanted better crowd interaction (but I think she just needed a friend or two to spice it up, instead of just her boring dad lol). she picks the Canucks as the best game to watch.
  7. 204, the street number I grew up on in Langley
  8. Taking my daughter to her first game. Should be a good one to hook her in for good. Energy should be good in the building. lucky girl, she’s had her first MLS, CFL and NHL games in the past two months.
