    Hi stealth, could you possibly pin the softwood tariff thread in off topic so British Columbians can have an important subject staring them in the face?

     

    There are major implications to trucking, harvesting and environmental implications.

      They will all say well BC jobs, Ottawa should protect them.... And in the end what can they do about it? Have Christy say she'll join a group of Russian women for entertainment?

      Yep lots of passing the buck in politics. NDP should have a lot to say about it as they're linked heavily to forestry. Libs are Conservatives so they will have their word play. Greens will applaud the lowering of sustainable harvest. It's really not a bad thing for BC so far. It might mean 12.5% reduction in wages/jobs though overall thru the entirety of the trade deal. See my post in the topic for further elaboration.
