  1. No plan to separate the Sedins.
  2. One must assume Heakly comes cheap.
  3. I'm judging Green based on his previous actions and experience as a coach. I see many similarities to Willie, but as I said, I hope he does well, and I'm in no way writing him off. You're free to disagree but I think it's a little unfair that you jumped to 'giving him no chance' when nothing of the kind was said.
  4. Green is known to play veterans over youth, so buckle up.
  5. Good grief, no kidding.
  6. He has the same style and attitude as Willie too. I really hope he does well, but I don't like this choice.
  7. Hi stealth, could you possibly pin the softwood tariff thread in off topic so British Columbians can have an important subject staring them in the face?

There are major implications to trucking, harvesting and environmental implications.

Well it should come up in the debates! BC will be watching.

They will all say well BC jobs, Ottawa should protect them.... And in the end what can they do about it? Have Christy say she'll join a group of Russian women for entertainment?

Yep lots of passing the buck in politics. NDP should have a lot to say about it as they're linked heavily to forestry. Libs are Conservatives so they will have their word play. Greens will applaud the lowering of sustainable harvest. It's really not a bad thing for BC so far. It might mean 12.5% reduction in wages/jobs though overall thru the entirety of the trade deal. See my post in the topic for further elaboration.

  8. Hello Stealth, was wondering if I could change my username subtitle to "Bringer of sawdust"

I am a Western Red Cedar sawyer, so the name is apt!

    Thanks for the consideration.

50/50 chance it's a gag name if he changes it for you. Prepare to be  'The Logmaker' or something

Well, seeing as though my god is the sun.... I'd be freaked out to be titled "maker of trees growing"

      Thanks for the laugh GB.

  9. Unfortunately I came back recently :(, I should update that. Loved Tokyo though, amazing place.
  10. I'm a little surprised it took 35 pages before someone blamed millennials.
  11. You believe that's why they lost 8 straight? What is accomplished by having Chaput on the first line? He had one assist. Wins and losses were irrelevant at that point (except for the tank). The guy was a terrible coach. The youngsters don't need to be protected, they need to be given an opportunity to succeed.
  12. The spice levels are rising!
  13. Well, yes. Who had more goals with the Sedins? Goldy, Megna, or Chaput?
  14. Tried to force Tryamkin to the AHL/back to Russia. Chaput with the Sedins Sutter on the PP for the entire year Over-use of Edler
  15. Considering this, it's kind of funny how Green expects to get a head coach gig right away in the NHL rather then stepping in as an assistant first.
