If Hamonic leaves , I hope Poolman plays on his right side and have Demers or the new guy playing with OEL. For Petey, if he can stay healthy he's worth every penny Time to enjoy a very exciting Canucks team this year, and should be playoff bound!

The players ultimately control what they want to accept. They teamed up together to have the leverage for a better deal. I give Jim credit for not giving in and saying "F it we just need them in the line up" and doing what's best for the team and not the individuals here. I hope they sign this week or at worst end of preseason but if not, its all on the players, not the agent.

I would prefer bridges on both players, not to save $$, but to prove that one is not going to be injury prone, and the other can handle the heavy load defensively when he needs to. They are highly talented and 1st rounds steals, but have to address these concerns before they deserve the keys to the vault.

Rathbone's stature reminds me of Stecher. He will get pushed around sometimes but as he matures he will be able to hold his own for the most part, as long as he has a partner that can handle the heavy wall and net position battles well. Myers should be that partner on the 3rd pairing right now, although defensively he's not ideal. An RD Edler from 2-4 years ago would be perfect IMO

Yes , on Juolevi, he's not the flash of Rathbone, but his defensive play is better so "when" Hughes is signed do you put Juolevi in to solidify the 3rd pairing or Rathbone? or Hunt who actually looked pretty good there , saving a goal as well. 1st game , so lots to to change over the next few games
