    Would you deal Demko, if we could land a 2019 1st r pick, or top RhD prospect?

     

    I think our two big Swedes might be a better tandem than we have realized. Especially if we had a deeper team playing proper team-D in front of them.

      Keeping Demko ensures DiPietero has to actually earn the starting job.

      Demko would be on the trade block if Jim signs Bobrovsky in the off season, since both couldn't be expansion protected. I don't know what the return would be, with all teams knowing that. With Marky showing some improvement in net, I suspect Jim will go all in on Panarin instead of Bobrovski and protect Demko for expansion.

      In order to extract any value for Demko you have to at least give him a cup of coffee in the NHL and then you have to hope like hell that he performs. But really it makes absolute no sense to shop him considering precedence.
