It's disrespectful to keep the future captain in the prospect section. This guy is beasting it at a time when we're fighting for playoff hopes and dealing with key injuries. Honestly a big reason why we haven't be dropping like flies this past month.

He'll be lucky to even make it as a 4th line center at the NHL level. I think Brent Sutter was spot on with his assessment of Gaunce last year. We'll be lucky if he even pans out at this point. His skating is still a big issue, you just don't see the same strides he has made like Horvat.

He wasn't very good tonight, atleast not showing he belongs in the NHL just yet. Camp is still early though and he was amazing in the faceoffs.

yes that's what I meant too. Regardless of the "best" that have played the game, the majority of captains in the NHL today are lead by example guys not these speeches vocal ones. That's what the coach is for imo.

Most captains are lead by example guys rather than vocal ones. Just look at all the current guys and past greats.

If he looks like he belongs than I hope he stays up. If he looks close I hope he gets a few games before being sent down. Does prospect camp start tomorrow?

Brent Sutter has vast amounts of experience and knowledge in both junior and NHL level. His opinion has to count for something.

Brent Sutter interview on Team 1040 said he really likes Bo Horvat, describes his play as a power forward type player and really good skater. Calls him a complete player and had a really good camp.
