I hope so. Seems to be a very steady defender who can kill penalties and is very effective at boxing the opposition out. Skates well, passes well..... No more Stillman type trades required because we have out guy right here.

[discussion] options to clear cap space
GB5 replied to Ted Lasso's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
I think this is very feasible and several teams will be interested. I wonder if it is possible to trade Myers prior to the bonus applying and include cash in the deal to cover all or part of the bonus thus setting up a trade at the draft. Maybe someone with greater understanding of the rules could answer this. -

Is giving OEL the permanent LTIR Pronger treatment a viable option? Pronger was working for the NHL for several years while his contract was flipped all through the league several times because he was "too injured" to play. -

Really impressed with Joshua tonight. I've been saying he needs to be more physical and he brought it tonight. Excellent on the pk as well. -

Wow... what a game.. I had to step out for a bit but just finished watching a pvr of the 2nd and 3rd periods. I sure cheered on Peteys she. Nice to have fun again. Couple thoughts and observations. Myers is an enigma. He is a big game guy. He played really good for the Canucks in the playoffs a couple years back and did well this game too. I think maybe he needs the physicality to get him going. Hughes played a ton, this was the second game in a row I noticed him pacing himself on a couple shifts. That's not on Hughes but is a sign he is getting too many minutes. Demko will single handedly help the Canucks draft in the 10-15 range.
