  1. Daniel Sedin is tied for 5th highest scoring among NHL LW's now, only 1 pt behind Ovechkin. Why do people on here think the Sedins are no longer ellite 1st line players?

If they arent firing at a point per game pace, they are no good to us as first liners, they're growing out of the role and we have nobody to replace them, its as much managements fault as anybodys, they've never been able to bring in that Hossa/Sharp type to back up the Sedins/Kesler or the Sedins/Bonino, but the fact remains, the Twins can no longer carry this team offensively and we are going to suffer for it.

Goals. I think Ovechkin is going to score 40, which is more than both Sedins will score combined.

  2. Who was a better NHL player Craig Janney or Kevin Stevens, had a hard time deciding who to nominate for the yop US players poll.

Stevens had a better career by far. Played longer, won more championships. But was playing with Mario and Jagr.. Janney was far more skilled, but didn't win anything and got stuck with injuries

Janney also got to play with Hull and Oates, so they both benefitted from great linemates.

  8. How possible is a Horvat-McCann-Virtanen line at the World Jr's. One can hope right?

Well if Horvat makes the NHL next year, he wouldn't be invited correct?

Yup the possibility is pretty slim. Horvat could make the NHL, McCann is a longshot to make the WJC and Virtanen's shoulder may hurt his chances too, although he should be healthy by Dec. BUt man as a Canucks fan how cool would it be!!

Canucks could always let Horvat go for a few games for his development even if he's in the NHL. It would depend on how he/the team are doing.
