Hey bud :)I have a 98 2dr explorer sport, the 4.0 HO motor is a beast . Full time AWD millage is not great but it has 4 hi and 4 low settings for getting out of anything. I own an 81 toyota with a 5inch lift and the Explorer can totally hold its own with good off road tires. Depending on who you talk too they are loved and hated .Make sure you take it to a ford dealer/mechanic you trust and have them check the tranny and CAM IDLE SENSOR.
