No one's saying Rodin will ever wear a letter here. You have no idea his personal character traits anyways so an argument relating him to Naslund in the sense of their leadership abilities is compeletely pointless. Their only common trait is both being swedish. Kinda sounds like a stereotype now doesn't it? And personally I thought Naslund was a great captain for the Canucks. Was he not the second longest serving in our history? Need to be doing something right for that now.

I mean, hypothetically, if Hodgson makes the Canucks this year, Schroeder in 2011, we'd have Rodin ready for 2012. He almost fills in the missing spot of no 2010 first rounder as I feel we may have landed 2 last year. Not bad at all to let him mature over the next few years before trying to crack the Canucks line-up. At least our prospect cupboard isn't bare!

You;ve only got 8 players total there no matter the line combos. Still need someone else in the top 9, preferably with experience if we're playing 2 rookies next year.

True. He's only been back in hockey for the last 12 months after 24+ off. I could see him being maybe a 10 goal guy this year if give 3rd line minutes. Hopefully he surpasses expectations (which can't be too hard).

This needs to be bumped after each game Burrows gets a point in.
