  1. If voters aren’t going to go out and vote what does it matter which way you do it? You keep saying 67% of voters didn’t want the Green Party in but 60% of eligible voters didn’t even bother voting in the first place. Maybe they were disillusioned with the candidates in general, which is fair enough but if someone doesn’t vote they shouldn’t be able to bitch about the results or even how they went about getting those results. I feel that the system you propose will make for moving toward a 2 party system more akin to the US. In my opinion the more parties the better. I am glad to see the Green win, I am glad to see the PPC garnering some votes, not because I necessarily like those parties but because more parties tend to moderate a political environment rather than polarize it. More parties leads to more cooperation and compromise to get stuff done which is always a good thing.
  2. Did you read the post I was quoting? He was talking about the bc liberals there bud so you can save the attitude.
  3. Pretty sure it’s a federal byelection. The provincial byelection already happened there. With that said it’s most likely the NDPs to lose with an outside chance for the conservatives to take the seat.
  4. I know you didn't ask me and I could very well be wrong here but, I believe it has a lot to do with the respect and credibility a lot of the other writers at HockeyBuzz have. The thought is (the Mod's thoughts that is) that reputable writers wouldn't work for him if he was just a hack with zero insider knowledge.
  5. Yah why the hell are the Canucks giving up a first in this scenario? If we are taking on salary cap to save the leafs from themselves I don’t see why we would pay a premium for the honour of making them a better run franchise.
  6. OP’sTL;DR: The interwebz offended me, must spread my outrage.
  7. That's why they should arm the kids too... the only thing that stops a bad teacher with a gun is a good student with a gun /s
  8. No a Canadian company is in the wrong here and should be forced to deal with it and any individual responsible should likewise be held accountable, that said it should NOT fall on tax payers to pay for it even though that is exactly what will happen. When those Boeing jets crashed, people didn’t blame the US, when Volkswagen cheated the Nox emissions tests people didn’t blame Germany, so how the eff is this Canada’s responsibility?
