  1. Acording to Bob McKenzie ( Picks 5 through 8)

Take Boqvist if still there at 7. If not, take Dobson or Bouchard. Wahlstrom is intriguing if he is still there at 7 but is he passable based on the Canucks need for defense.?
  2. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Dobson is a safe pick at 7. I would have no problem with taking him there.
  3. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

I dont think it will be the end of the world if Pettersson gets cut. If anything, it will motivate him in the offseason to prove the coach wrong.
  4. 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I like the reports on Boqvist but I dont think he will be available in the 6-9 range. I think he will go 3rd, 4th or 5th. If the Canucks get the 3rd pick I can see him on the radar though.
  5. Alex Edler still not interested in waving NTC

Edler- Guddy is a good 3-4 pairing. Canucks just missing an elite d-man to be paired with Tanev...and another good d-man to fill in when Tanev is injured.
  6. Olli Juolevi | D

yup and people always bring up Tkachuk in hindsight but at this point there are 3 or 4 players drafted after Tkachuk I would rather have on my team (Keller, Sergachev, McAvoy and possibly Chychrun) over Tkachuk.
  7. [Report] Canucks recall Jayson Megna

If Boeser is injured why not call up Goldobin (who has been hot in Utica) to fill in for him?..... rather than a 4th line energy guy?
  8. Say what you want about megna, he is a pretty good penalty killer.
  9. [Official] 2017 Training Camp Thread

alot deeper than last year but with the Sedins in decline at the end of their career the Canucks are still short on top end talent. The game breakers which decide the outcomes of most games.
  10. [Official] 2017 Training Camp Thread

so correct me if i am wrong as of right now the Canucks have 3 playing spots and 1 press box spot for these forwards: Boeser, Virtanen, Dorsett, Burmistrov, Rodin, Archibald, Megna and Chaput.
  11. [Official] 2017 Training Camp Thread

So far in limited pre season and based on how Boeser did at the end of last season he has shown he is one of the best Canuck forwards. I doubt he would be given limited minutes with the Canucks.
  12. Preseason GDT/PGT Canucks vs Flames Sept. 20th 6:00pm

I wonder if alot of that has to do with him just being in better shape too. When you are tired you are more likely to make mental mistakes.
  13. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

that would have been an amazing goal if they were somehow able to get it back to him.
