Thanks so much for taking the time to write the blogs this year. They've been great! Glad you don't mind hearing all our comments on what are often, private issues that really are none of our business. You've been so tolerant of us! I'd say the silver lining of this year is that you're no longer conflicted about where to have the baby and having to miss the first few special weeks of her life. It's so nice that you'll be home and having family so close for such a precious time. Thanks again for a wonderful year - watching you play with all your heart is all that we're asking for, and you sure gave us that!...Next year's going to be even better - this is just the beginning for you. I just hope we get to keep you..the mentality has changed in the past years so that a guy is not instantly identifiable with a franchise anymore - the celebration of Trevor shows what happens when they are..that change is a loss for all of us I think. Can't wait til next year, Thanks again for all you've given us this year, wishing you and Andrea all the best with your new little one. ENJOY!

Thanks so much for taking the time to blog, as you can see by the responses we love reading your posts! I want to say how impressed I am that it is so important to you that your wife has family around at such an epic moment in her life...it's so nice to hear you thinking of her so much at such a special time...but, don't forget it's a pretty important moment in your life as well - it sure would suck to miss it...if there's ANY way that family could be here for her that would be a win/win for all of you -- baby too! Really...it's none of our business what you do...we just want what's best for you and your family... As for hockey - you've been awesome and I agree it's nice to see you and Alex having so much fun together out there....it's so neat to see a team enjoying themselves and it seems to show in the results as well.. Hope we get to keep you for a long, long time!

Your lives will never be the same (I agree, she'll have you wrapped around your finger in an instant) There's no way you can catch enough sleep ahead of time, as mother of 4 I can vouch for that....But enjoy the luxury of uninterrupted sleep while you can Love watching you out there - you play with such determination and grit, but also with a lot of heart and talent Hope you stay "ours" for a LONG time Best wishes for a smooth pregnancy that you can both enjoy Rose
