Very well said. Likely the other goaltenders getting "hot" against us has a lot to do with being able to do their job unobstructed and free of any real traffic in front. We need to make it more difficult for them and I think you're right in how it paid off last night when we did go hard to the net. I really enjoyed reading your blog...well written and bang on. We play best when there's some real drive and intensity there - laid back and complacent just don't cut it.

I wholeheartedly agree with what you've said about Markus. It's a shame that after over a decade spent with this team he's being treated like a nobody and standing in the sidelines. People say he was emotionless - I call it composed. He led this team with integrity and class and I, for one, will never forget what he's meant to this city. I hope he stays but, if he goes, it better be with a proper send off...he certainly deserves it.

Really enjoyed watching you play this year...it's just too bad that we didn't always get the results we would've liked. A tough season for sure - those injuries certainly didn't help.

It was completely unwarranted and savage. Honestly...this is nothing more than poor sportsmanship and rage. No place for this in hockey...I saw Burr "let up" when he could have easily punched a guy that he had under him...because, in the end, you respect your fellow player more than that. This goes completely against that respect.
Emery will not be suspended, which is absolute garbage in my view. He has a history and is, in my view. little more than a thug with his antics.
