    An Air Canada plane hit a another aircraft on the tarmac at Vancouver International Airport Sunday afternoon

      No fatalities...all ended well. Everyone put on other planes and delays, but best case scenario.

      Unless one was landing, or taking off. The speed they hit would be slow. Makes me wonder about the ground control (that handles the movement of the planes prior to take off or landing). Or did a pilot misunderstand?

      Watched the entire opening ceremonies of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics at Moose McGillicuddy's in Lahaina. Went into the place at 4:30 pm and left at 2:00 am. Great food, great band. With my luck I had the only room in Lahaina that was spinning all night. Lahaina had a really friendly vibe then; don't know what it's like now, but back then when I told a barber in Waikiki that my wife and i were going to Maui she repllied, "Maui? That's for newlyweds and nearly deads." Unless you golf, I tend to agree.

      OMG I LOVE these Bri!!!! You are seriously talented, wow! So impressed.

      Also...I've never had a cake pop but this makes me want to try them. (I have a cake pop maker here that was my daughter's)

      Thanks! Yes! There are a few ways to bake cake pops - oven with them balled up, or the cake pop maker. 

       

      I have a cake pop maker, and it's so fun, and especially with the candy melts and sprinkles! I like to turn it into little art pieces!

      Overall, these are young men, like in their 20s. I could not really go for a 20 something.  There needs to be more 30s and 40s somethings on this show, and especially the ones who like hockey!

      It will be really exciting when the Golden Bachelor airs! I'm very curious about this show and what the age range will be of contestants and if there will be drama among the ladies.

      I feel a bit wary of Xavier, seems like a bit of a player. I liked his honesty, but was he trying to give signs that he wasn't really serious about it all? He doesn't seem that into her/the whole deal.

    Not around much these days...summer is go, go, go, go, go, go, STOP/SLEEP. Get 4 weeks off soon...really looking forward to some down time.

      The neighborhood is having a street festival. I just got back from the festival and grocery store.  It's nice out, almost 90F!

      Wore my black and orange for sure, Joe. No Dirty 30..I wish! I do have Geroy's jersey...autographed too but it was too hot. Went sleeveless. Lager Bob bought a Lions' Hawaiian shirt, cost him $72 WITH his discount.

    Just met/had a lovely chat with iMac in Tim Horton's (of course it was there...hockey door handles!). He's as nice as he seems. I was quite thrilled to meet him as he's my favourite of all the people who cover the team.

    Great news...Esther Wang, teen missing from her group hike, has been found alive after 2 days of searching!

      We postponed...my daughter was sick so the rest of us just walked around town and had some appies and a drink on a patio.

      I, too, feel somewhat the same but will give it a try and see if it measures up at all to the animated film.

      I liked him so much when he played for the Canucks! He was like a cool, hip fella that you could relate to. 

       

      There were many players on the team that were hip and cool, but he stood out.
