    Thoughts and prayers with Patrick Eaves and his family tonight. GBS is a tough battle and it can be a long one. My dad was diagnosed with it 11 years ago and unfortunately never fully recovered. While it is possible to fully recover from it, sometimes it doesn't happen that way. I hope he gets back to where he was before. I Wish nothing but the best for him.

      Can you still get this from the Flu shot? I know i swear I read somewhere  there is a 1 in 100,000 chance to get it from the flu shot.

      Yeah. You can. The flu shot triggers the GBS in very rare cases.

      having a immune defieciency sucks I have RA  caused by the immune system attacking the joints, so I take methotrexate to control joint disfigurement and it completely whips out the immune response ,cuts, colds ,flu's. cut infection no fun.
