  1. [PGT] Nashville Predators vs. Vancouver Canucks

Agreed. Hopefully they take some lessons from this one and have a response loaded for next game.
  2. [PGT] Nashville Predators vs. Vancouver Canucks

Those prideful guys who get angry when things get tough and lead by example are worth their weight in gold. Very tough to measure their contributions when it’s going well but pretty obvious when you don’t have em in the lineup.
  3. [PGT] Nashville Predators vs. Vancouver Canucks

Jerks couldn’t muster 8 goals tonight. Losers.
  4. Oh boy no kidding... all the chicken crap pokes and slashes we’re taking right now. According to the analytikz crew we shouldn’t be missing Guddy/Dorsett/Sutter. We are.
  5. 2/3 best offensive players and 2/3/4 best defensive ones. That hurts. I’m not throwing in the towel on the season yet.. but I also didn’t expect them to look as good as we did to start the year. We could really use one last high pick to burn on a defenseman. If it doesn’t turn around.
  6. Perfect. Once she sees how disgusting that garbage gets she’ll take it out herself.
  7. On the plus side we might see Nilsson so mad he choke slams someone through the ice.
  8. Oh boy did I miss the obligatory “what did you expect with Cloutier as your goalie coach” jape?
  9. Reviews should be a playoff only thing.
  10. For sure. We needed full effort even when we were healthy. Hard thing to keep up night in and night out though.
  11. COACHES in VANCOUVER - I don't get it . . .

Nice quote by Green in the Kuzma article from today on Goldobin: ...and please spare me the myopic “we lost anyways” retort. He’s obviously talking long term. “There are not many players in the game who take shortcuts.... The best players work hard all over the rink. We want Goldy to be a full-time NHL player you can win with. I’m not interested in having 20-goal scorers you lose with.”
  12. I copped out and took the injury option. I agree with most of the OP though... tough decision. IMO Jim needs to keep that right side locked up. Tanev-Guddy-Stecher all bring something different and Tanev is the resident greybeard at 27. It's a bonafide #2 in Tanev with a pair of #4s in Guddy and Stech - sufficiently "rebuilt" to a potential contender level. On the left something has to give and something has to be gained. Edler, Hutton, Pouliot and MDZ are all 2nd pairing types but there's no one to anchor a top pairing. Barring a lottery win or trade we're putting a lot on Juolevi. It's also not great to have Hutton or Pouliot sitting for long periods nor is it healthy to have vets like Edler or MDZ on the bench so while I love the depth I see someone getting moved this TDL. Just one, though, Olli has to earn his spot against the remaining 3.
  13. Its always nice to snag an extra pick or two at the deadline but JB’s focus right now needs to be on shoring up the roster. We have quite the glut of young talent pushing in over the next few years and taking the reigns alongside Brock, Bo, Goldy, Granny, Baer, Stech, Hutton, Pouliot.... it’s JB’s job to ensure there’s enough depth and internal competition that we don’t Oiler out. We need to avoid a scenario where we re-up Brock for 7 mil a season in 2019 without ever having a sniff at the playoffs.
  14. Is this how HF boards reconcile Jim making a great move? Rutherford was feeling sorry for him? I call shennanegans. You’re trolling.
