  1. i bought a used vehicle. Nice addition to my retro collection. I also have a 76 Dart Swinger and a 74 Vespa 150 supersport. This beauty is an 84 Vanagon. Has queen bed. Will be camperising it more, want to add solar panels, sink, fridge and stove. One day I will convert to being an EV but the price tag is too much right now. There is a company putting Tesla engines in them (makes them so fast) but they want min 50k for the convert.
  2. Price is Right, with Bob, will always remind me of being home sick from school when I was a kid.
  3. Drake must have made a bet that the scoreboard would be ready to go when he booked his show.
  4. I know that's what you meant. But you demiinshed my post about my dogs sound sensitivity so I thought I'd have some fun, take your post in a biocentric way. Makes you seem so much nicer.
  5. Deep Peace to You Deep peace of the running wave to you. Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
  6. You're biocentric. Much respect.
  7. Welp, ^^^ my dog is not going to like that.
  8. For 'short term' its not bad. My sis recently rented a house on Shawnigan lake, $600 a night but you could sleep 10 people and comes with lake toys. Way cheaper than hotels. However with the place you posted, asking that for 'monthly' it's a joke.
  9. I bet he was drinking a cup of tea, then fell out the plane window just as it was crashing.
  10. I hope Tocchet is better than I think he is. I fear that we will lose EP and maybe Kuz while we have this bench boss. If we dont take some real steps this year, EP is gone.
  11. Yep, the bylaws against riding on the side walks are as enforced as bicycle helmet laws or smoking close to doorways/ air intakes
  12. So, healthy humans that can go naturally fast dont need to ahere to your proposed law? I like it.
  13. You cannot do that anymore. Stupid f'ing humans steal them these days. I miss the 80s/90s too...dogs outside a shop besides all our discarded bmx's, no bike locks. Can I bum a quarter to play digdug?
  14. No kidding. I have no problem with service animals although they have to trained. Maybe a test every year to prove they can be in public. Perhaps we can do that for humans too as problematic incidents in my life are almost always with naked apes.
  15. I saw Muse on their Drones tour. Was great, had a very cool drone part of the show.
  16. Been around for longer than that. Here you go. https://discoveryoftech.com/when-did-drones-become-popular/#:~:text=Drones have been around for, available to the general public. Drones have been around for a while, but they didn’t become popular until the 2000s. First drone was invented in 1935 and was used for military purposes. They later became available to law enforcement and firefighting agencies, and it wasn’t until the 2000s that drones became available to the general public.
  17. Do you need to keep taking it for the rest of your life? How old are you? What does it do to your natural levels?
  18. Thanks I dont like comment sections, I find they lack respect and any intellectual honesty. I dont like to have to sign up either, this is the only site I ever have. Dont do SM etc.. I also dont care about any politics on this issue. I found the stats interesting. In general gun crimes are up all over as I also have read that the US got really murdery during the pandemic. The idea of giving the cops more tools to get the bad guys is a good one. Carding, stop and frisk, whatever, could and maybe should be reviewed but the big question is obvious.... how to not act with discrimination. To use your words, a reference to ' the top ten' on why carding is effective ... the top ten dont look like criminals to me, unless one thinks dark skinned men look like criminals. So, I am still stuck on your other statement 'what a criminal looks like'. I just a read a guy made a doc about it, claims to have been stopped 50times in Ont. just for being black. Being covered in tattoo's for a lot longer than most people ( got sleeves decades ago) my mum used to say I look like a criminal. I used to get looks when I would travel outside of Vancouver. These days I look more like a soccer player, or a trucker/biker if I grow my beard, as the rest of the world caught up. I have felt just a tiny bit of what it means to be profiled and would hope our police forces figure out a way not to dicriminate. Again, obviously.
  19. Thanks for the response. I was/am confused what you meant with the follwing sentence. 'If you wanna know why carding is effective maybe you should google "top 10 most wanted in Toronto". I googled like you suggested and noticed that everyone of the top 10 were people of colour. I think you could see why I misunderstood you based on that sentence and what the top ten look like. The controversy over carding is that it often targets people based on skin colour. I researched the effectiveness of carding and it said "Carding programs have been shown to consume a considerable amount of police resources, with little to no verifiable results on the level of crime" I ask again, do you have any source for your claims that it's effective and crime in TO started to sky rocket as a direct result? I am part way through becoming a Federal Peace Officer, I hope I make it. Understanding these types of programs would help me. I also have worked retail liquor for a decade and nightclubs for 15 years. I can tell you, despite dealing with lots of crime, I am not sure 'what a criminal looks like' as in my experience there are all types. I am reading a book called 'Games Criminals Play' and one of it's points is dont generalize. It makes you complacent and you might start to miss things.
  20. Well, that's cause they x-rayed the wrong spot. I have this info from a reliable source
