  1. Hunter Shinkaruk Talk

Rockets please. Not Hamilton's style though, sadly.
  2. Anton Cederholm | D

Was at Rockets/Winterhawks game last night. Cederholm played well on a very frustrated Winterhawks squad. The word to use with him is steady; he is a very safe player. Almost never pinches, makes solid plays. Big dude, pretty good mobility. His ability to fight was also pretty impressive. Seriously. He took on Myles Bell who is a pretty decent fighter. Not sure what his ceiling is, I think he is pretty raw in terms of his offensive ability. His defensive game is solid though and he tends to make very good decisions with the puck. He should have a fairly decent chance to play in the NHL.
  3. Patrick McNally Talk

I am slightly confused, it sounds like he wont be going to the NCAA next season, or at least there is a chance that he wont. Will he or wont he play for Harvard next season? And if he doesn't, why not? I hope he does play for Harvard next season. I don't mind the fact that he will naturally take his time developing, it could make him a very good pro for a very long time. He seems like a guy with a lot of potential, I just hope he at the very least plays in the USHL if not the NCAA next season.
  4. Jordan Schroeder Talk

Schroeder's speed is very good, he was considered one of the top 5 (maybe even top 3) skaters from last years draft IIRC. He is what I would call an 'effortless' skater, if you know what I mean.
  5. Jordan Schroeder Talk

pumped. lets hope schroeder and grabner (and hopefully hodgson) get some chemistry going for the playoffs!
  6. Jordan Schroeder Talk

any news on the game tonight?
  7. Jordan Schroeder Talk

i assume they lost last night. does that mean that his ncaa season is over? or does he have more playoff game yet?
  8. Jordan Schroeder Talk

Why would we put an offensive player on a fourth line? especially one so young? Regardless, my guess is that Schroeder ends up playing wing almost exclusively at the pro level.
  9. Jordan Schroeder Talk

Holmstrom is not over 6. If anything he is under. I can tell that from my TV at home. Franzen, on the other hand, you have a point there. And they also had Samuelsson. I still think the argument sucks tho.
  10. Jordan Schroeder Talk

Sedins are 6'1/6'2 depending on who you talk to, Grabner is 6'1, Rodin is 6, Hodgson is 5'11/6. So we now have only one player who is vastly under 6' ? Who was bigger than 6'1 on the Wings top 6 the year they won the cup? Saying a team will suck based on size is an awful argument. Not to mention, you kind of forgot that Kesler is in our Top 6. And currently, we also have Samuelsson playing in our top 6, who is a big man too. Besides, the likelyhodd that pans out as our top 6 in the next 4 years is just about nil.
  11. Jordan Schroeder Talk

He plays hard enough and with enough skill that height shouldn't be an issue for him.
  12. Anton Rödin | RW/LW

no worries. hopefully he'll get top 9 minutes this year anyways.
  13. Anton Rödin | RW/LW

did he get top-6 or even top-9 minutes before that last game?
  14. Anton Rödin | RW/LW

is that SEL? and are those two goals on the 4th line?
