  1. nasty puck in the face, took it right in the nose... staying on the bench edit 1 - FYI - even the play by play guy pointed out that virtanen needs to be smarter in the offensive zone. I noticed in the WJ as well as in this game, he will burst with speed wide down RW and circle behind the net, only to blindly throw it out front hoping someone is there. edit 2 Hitmen 1 - Tigers 0, scored on a 4 on 1 rush, virtanen not on ice
  2. I played 1.6 back in the day... how much different is it? is it worth my $$?
  3. Fairly confident the league will be around... This is year 4... We don't do any playoffs. I'm just worried about where nelson falls on depth chart in new York. And what kind of I've time he'll get 5v5
  4. My keeper pool counts goals and assists as 1 Shots and hits 0.1 0.5 for +/- Trade offered is James Neal For Brock Nelson Who do you think wins the deal?
  5. Abuse of power of attorney is a real thing. Recent changes to the legal terminalogy related to POAs have now include a "act in my best interet" clause, which can be removed if requested but it must be signed off as an addendum. The sad part is, he can get a lawyer and he can sue his parents and seek legal action against his parents, who will subsequently file for bankrupcy themselves and get nothing. Bankrupcy is his only option to clear his name. Luckily he has the ability to earning a good living and reestablish his life away from his parents. Most people in that situation aren't in that good of a position. POA abuse is more common among children abusing their elderly parents.
  6. Yeah it's wicked fast. I don't want it to go that fast all the time, which is why I'm putting it on a toggle or a push button switch. I do still have to add safety belts too, the car itself was made in the 90s and they didn't have lap belts back then.
  7. Decided to show you guys the car in action. I removed the vents, mr fusion and flux for the demo. Note: 12v is what i'm building his "NOS" button to be.
  8. So when I had a son, I wanted to make sure he had something cool. Here's what I have been working on for him. Almost complete!! Started with Barbie Lambo 6v Mods: Double to 12v HeadLights and Grill Undermount LEDs Mr Fusion Front and Rear Light Strips LED Flux Capacitor Still to be made, Time Circuits, "NOS" Turbo Button and possibly, flaming Tire Tracks.
  9. In the end both teams improve within their respective plans. Vancouver fans should be happy with the deal, there are clearly more positives than negatives. #1 Nick Bonino being slightly younger, and much lighter on the pocket book. I can see why Benning was looking to include him in the deal. In the time that Bonino is with VAN, if he is even 80% of what Kesler's ceiling was, then this is a WIN. Kesler was always playing at 80% health anyways. #2 Luca Sbisa, seeming to be a journeyman, because he's been around for so long, the guy isn't even 25 yet and has a good 7+ years of hockey left in him, with his prime still ahead. #3 Jared McCann (1st Round Pick) 2 way centre with offensive upside, Ranked 15 but fell in draft. Potential is there and with no need to rush, he can be groomed properly under this regime. #4 Derek Dorsett, energy 4th liner that can play. Excellent Skater and physical presence. Big upgrade. #5 Addition by subtraction, this is a paradigm shift, from the stale MG era. Adding good character guys and not allowing personalities to fester. Kesler wants to win and there is no shame in that. His comments are what make Kesler the type of player he is, and what we have enjoyed about him for the past... decade? Good for him... who knows, maybe there was something to the removal of the A, maybe he goes to Free agency and re-signs with VAN ala TL... either way, both sides were ready to part ways The only thing negative about the trade is... the "what if" factor, who knows what other offers could be on the table if other team were involved, or we traded on trade deadline day etc. truth is, no one will even know, and it's over, no sense worrying about what could have been, if it never was.
  10. Adding a bonafide scorer isn't going to help in the big picture. The trading of Lu is the first domino in what should be a very fruitful retooling. Our G situation gets younger and much cheaper. Albeit we lose the experience, recent successful teams have gotten through playoffs with mediocre goaltending supported by an abundance of scoring. Trading Kesler and Edler for young cheaper versions on themselves + the extra cap room means we can be competitive next year AND add some prospect depth in the process.
  11. Vanbiesbrook? (SP?)
  12. Correct!

I was just wondering, is NHL 11 going to be featured at E3 this year?
