  1. Nicklas Jensen Talk

The article by Jameison states that "according to the Wolves, Jensen is eligible to play in the AHL next season". I hope that it's true! I'd like to see what he could do while flanking J. Schroeder for a full season. Ditto for Joe Cannata behind Eddie Lack.
  2. Nicklas Jensen Talk

Nicklas Jensen recorded a hat trick with the Wolves in a 4-2 over the Peoria Rivermen. Congratulations, Nicklas!
  3. Nicklas Jensen Talk

Not awe-inspiring, indeed. Jensen will need playing experience in the AHL before he is ready to join the Canucks roster. He is young still, and his physical attributes and offensive abilities are quite promising.
  4. Anton Rödin | RW/LW

A few notes about Rodin's play last week from the Chicago Wolves website: "Tallied 2 points (G, A) in three games last week, which included scoring Chicago’s lone goal on Dec. 31 ...Ranks first among Wolves rookies with 8 assists and 12 points in 25 games this year during his North American debut ... Has accrued 3 assists and 4 points during a current four-game point streak, which is a season-best" I hope he continues to improve his offensive output.
  5. Joseph LaBate | C/LW

LaBate is 5th in scoring for the Badgers while being the second youngest player on the team. He is currently tied for 5th in points and 3rd in assists amongst WCHA rookies.
  6. Jordan Schroeder Talk

Excellent assessment. Thank you for sharing your observations. They are more valuable than the statistics posted on the Wolves website alone.
  7. Joe Cannata Talk

Joe Cannata earned the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month honour for his play with Merrimack in October: "Joe Cannata – Merrimack Senior Goaltender; Wakefield, Mass. Cannata recorded an unblemished 5-0 October record for the Warriors, 4-0 in Hockey East, with a 1.40 GAA and a .938 save percentage for the Warriors, allowing only two even strength goals all month long. He allowed two goals or less in all five starts and recorded 20+ saves in three of the five games. Runner-up: Parker Milner, BC (Jr., Pittsburgh, Pa.) 7-1-0, 2.24 GAA, .920 save%" Great numbers. Great start. Congratulations, Joe. Pardon me if this has been posted already in another thread.
