  1. They could. If we could get rid of KB then it makes perfect sense.
  2. Playoff Lineup: Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Raymond - Kesler - Samuelsson Malhotra - Schaefer - Torres Oreskovich - Morrison - Hansen Hamhuis - Ehrhoff Ballard - Bieksa Edler - Salo Luongo Schneider Notes: Samuelsson and Torres could switch lines if needed Morrison would get good powerplay time On Line 1: Our same old defensively responsible 1st Sedin line with an amazing scoring punch. On Line 2: Speedy up and coming players Ryan Kesler and Mason Raymond highlight a great line exclamated by snipers Mikael Samuelsson or Raffi Torres On Line 3: Shutdown line. That can score. On Line 4: Defensively responsible, a little scoring touch and a 4th line that won't cost us too many goals. On Pairing 1: Defensively sound Hamhuis with Two Way D-Man Christian Ehrhoff. This pairing would also be great on the power play. On Pairing 2: Hard hitting shot blocking Keith Ballard is paired with another hard hitting defenseman, Kevin Bieksa. On Pairing 3: Our closers (to close out games). Possibly on of the best up and coming defensemen, Alex Edler is paired with a solid veteran, Sami Salo. ** Salo would be played less because of threat of injury and Bieksa would also be played less because he is not as consistent on D. The pairings would be shuffled and could then look like this if both are being rested Hamhuis - Ballard Ehrhoff - Edler All 4 of these players are capable of 25 minutes a night (not saying they will get.) Seeing the Moose led with top forward prospects Cody Hodgson, Jordan Schroeder, and Sergei Shirokov, they have a chance to win a Calder Cup, while giving our prospects the smooth transition to pro they deserve.
  3. Yes I'm 12 but you gotta admit I'm not that idiotic compared to the other minors on CDC

  4. Yeah I just did quick ones because when you downscale it into a sig you can't notice it. The Dirk Nowitzki one was VERY sloppy, the Ehrs one isn't as bad but the Steve Nash one was my first render Basketball ones are difficult because the hardwood/the other players behind him blend in with his skin

  14. I like how every post in the first page (other than the OP) is at least +5
  15. BEST CASE SCENARIO Trade him, and O'Brien in a trade similar to the Ehrhoff trade, but the other way. Team? I'm not sure, but there's gotta be one. That way we get the cap room we need to sign Willie Mitchell (Unlikely but I'm hoping for it). Our defense now looks like this: Hamhuis-Ballard Mitchell-Salo Edler-Ehrhoff Rome Alberts The reason Alberts is still here is because I'm not sure any team in the league needs/wants him.
  16. 19 to the rafters!

  18. TrevLinden16 here with a 12 year old's insight (mine) on day 1 of free agency for the Vancouver Canucks. I tried doing this in video form to post on my channel but its too awkward talking to myself in an empty room. First up center Joel Perrault was signed on a 1 year deal worth $510,000. He played for the Coyotes last season but only in 2 games. The rest was spent in San Antonio (AHL) and the Swiss league. Expect him to be a 4th liner replacing Ryan Johnson or a 13th forward. Next, GM Mike Gillis announced the signing of center Manny Malhotra of the San Jose Sharks. This is a 3 year deal worth $7.5 Million (2.5 Million a year) and comes with a No-Trade Clause. Malhotra will likely be the gritty 3rd line center that the Canucks desperately needed providing a decent offensive touch as he finished last season with 14 goals and 33 points in 71 games last season. He had an impressive +17 plus minus last season and his capable of playing the power-play and penalty-kill. Manny is also the husband of basketball star, Steve Nash's sister. The biggest Canuck signing of the day and one of the biggest signings in the NHL today came with Nashville defenseman Dan Hamhuis. The Smithers, BC native signed a 6 year deal worth $27 million (4.5 a year). He is a great 2 way defenseman and had 24 points in 78 games last season and is capable of logging in big minutes. Hamuis will be the #1 defenseman the Canucks desperately needed joining other acquisitions like Keith Ballard but his signing likely marks the end of Willie Mitchell's tenure in Vancouver. Mitchell posted an impressive +13 plus minus with only 12 points in an injury shortened 48 game season. Defenseman Kevin Bieksa is also a likely candidate to be traded following the acquisitions of Ballard and Hamhuis. The last signing of the day (so far) was Alberta native left-winger Jeff Tambellini of the New York Islanders. He is the son of Oiler's GM, Steve Tambellini. Expect him to play the role of 3rd line winger. He was signed to a 1 year contract but the value is still unknown. Tambellini scored 7 goals and 14 points in 38 games last season including a hat-trick early in the season. "The minute I heard the Canucks made me an offer, it was a no-brainer and I didn't even listen to anything else that came in." - Jeff Tambellini
