  1. [Waivers] Yannick Weber

Based on the fact that I could get MULTIPLE picks for all of them in NHL 16!!!!
  2. [Waivers] Yannick Weber

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger  31s31 seconds ago Confirming Canucks defenseman Yannick Weber will be placed on waivers at noon et.
  3. Correct. You would need to go one at a time, hoping the first offer sheet would handcuff CBJ enough that they let the second offer sheet go.  That said, I think the better way to go would to use this method as leverage to lower either's value via trade.
  4. Both good targets. Anaheim won't let Lindholm go easily, but I think Vatanen could be had.

BAGM CPU GM's cannot manage cap space worth a $hit. Every offseason there are plenty of RFA's available because the CPU decides to sign 3 plugs instead of the obvious young star. Example? Montreal has an RFA (Hudon): 85 overall with green Elite potential, asking around 4 million. Instead they opt to sign Kassian (80 ovr 1.8M), Smith-Pelly (81 ovr 1.3M) and Semin (81 ovr 1.8M). Add in their available cap space of +1M and they have more than enough room to sign their guy.. I should also mention that 2 of the 3 above will be in the AHL due to a lack of roster space.  I know this isn't an easy fix coding wise, but come on! This is standard GM stuff. And GM's are still stocking up on positions they are already stacked in (specifically in net). In my latest bought, Washington traded for Luongo (85 ovr) to back up Holtby (88 ovr). Winnipeg had Hellebuyck (85 Green Starter Potential), Pavelec (84) and Comrie (70 Green Elite Potential). Pretty much set, right? Nope. Lets draft a 20 year old goaltending prospect (Green Starter) 4th overall (granted, he was probably the BPA at the time..), then lets sign Bishop (88) to a 4 year 7.5M deal. They also have no idea what they're team needs are and refuse to do anything about it. I signed Hedman to a 6 year 6.8 deal with no competition.. meanwhile, teams like NYR/Edmonton/San Jose who have 3 or 4 NHL defensemen and almost 10 million in cap space are chasing after guys like Marleau and Tyler Johnson. Can EA put some effort into BAGM, please? It's so outclassed by virtually(all?) every other sporting game out there, it's not even funny..

Can the Canucks sign him for the remainder of the year and have him recover with team doctors? I'm not sure if that would aid his recovery time, but it would give him an opportunity to immerse himself into the team for next year.
  7. 2016 NHL Entry Draft

He has Fabbro going #22. Would be nice to get a pick in that 20 overall range and grab him and Sergachev (#9).
  8. 2016 NHL Entry Draft

That was TSN's pre-season list. The latest list released by The Hockey News didn't even have Clague top 30..

Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie  11m11 minutes ago TSN's 2016 Mid-Season Draft Rankings will be released on Feb. 8. CHL Prospects game is Jan. 28. Will survey scouts/compile list after that. Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie  7m7 minutes ago TSN rankings, as always, include all skaters/goalies from North America and Europe on one list. Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie  1m1 minute ago TSN does 3 rankings - pre-season, mid-season (Feb. 8), final (week before draft). Here's look back to pre-season: http://www.tsn.ca/elite-prospect-matthews-tops-mckenzie-s-ranking-1.364099 …   Other than a few notable drops, not a ton of movement from their pre-season rankings.

  12. Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie  1m1 minute ago Of course, I've been wrong before so we'll see. VAN doesn't plan on putting Chris Higgins on waivers today but continues to seek trade.   Bob McKenzie ‏@TSNBobMcKenzie  19m19 minutes ago With cap hit of $2.5M this season and next, VAN knows it must retain salary to get deal done. A handful of teams contacted VAN yesterday.   I would be interested in seeing where the conversations went with those teams. I would assume they would be offering dollars for dollars type deals.
  13. Carle is lefty, has two more years (after this season) with a cap hit of 5.5 and a modified NTC (not sure what the conditions are).  We need defencemen, but can we afford that much on Carle? 0 points in 33 games this year?
  14. I feel like Drouin will be dealt for a big rental or maybe some sort of swap for a young ELC.  Tampa has plenty of assets that they could move for an all in move.
  15. Tampa is still making a push,  so I would expect Stevie to want players that can help now. Vrbata (50% retained/pending UFA) + Baerstchi (young, cheap roster player) + 3rd For Drouin + Cap Dump (save cap for Stamkos/pending RFAs)
