  1. Interesting..........team goes down 2 men (both goalies in box)....hmmmmm
  2. Raise the glass so it's the same height as behind the net. That way if the puck is shot over, you know it's on purpose. Keep the trapezoid as a safe zone. Goaile can play puck outside the trapezoid but is not considered untouchable. Keep o/t and s/o but change point system to 3 point games, whereby you don't get a point for losing. Reg or O/T win :3 pts. S/O win: 2 pts. Reg or O/T loss: 0 pts. S/O loss: 1 pt. Change icing : Puck shot from inside your defensive zone blue line: ICING. This is usually where you are trying to ice the puck. Puck shot outside your blueline: NO ICING. This is usually a missed pass or bad judgement on part of player or linesman.
  3. The only stat that matters is WINS....and Miller had 11 more than Lack....GAA and SV% are over rated.
  4. The two most bizarre statements I've read so far today!
  5. Markstrom wore 25 in FLA also 33 and 35. Two former Canuck goalies also wore 25 : Charlie Hodge and George Gardner. (not with the Canucks though) I think it was the fact he had it in FLA , and not that he idolizes these two. Their stats (as Canucks) are similar to Markstrom's NHL totals Gardner: 9 W 22 L 4 T 3.84 GAA Hodge: 15 W 13 L 5 T 3.42 GAA Jacob: 13 W 28 L 5 OTL 3.18 GAA Or it's because he's 25 yrs old........
  6. Of course we should look at getting younger, but I wouldn't want to ice the Comets next year either. Youth is good, mixed with experience. We will get younger and better, year after year. Benning has said he will make room for the youngsters, if they are pushing for a roster spot.
  7. CBC kept showing a clip of 3 Ferland hits....1 was charging, 1 was a hit to the head, and the other was borderline boarding.....that's why he's effectively affecting the Nucks.....he's Dustin Brown in a Flames jersey. Having said that I'd like to see Kenins do the same thing.
  8. I just want to see the officiating even, what's a penalty for one is a penalty for all. Case in point....I didn't think there was much difference in the Ferland/Sbisa hit than the Burrows/Gaudreau hit. Yet one gets nothing and the other boarding.
