  1. Chelsea should have had a penalty for Smalling holding Ivanovic but Rojo and Terry was not a penalty but to say the ref cost them the game is embarrassing. United more than deserved a point. What none of you (shocking) are talking about is that Ivanovic had 3 warnings in the first half before he was finally booked, Fabregas stood 1 yard from the ball every time we had a free kick, refusing to let United get on with the game, a yellow card offence every time. The amount of times Chelsea players kicked the ball away after the whistle, a yellow card offence every time. Whenever Di Maria got the ball he was practically assaulted. No mention either of the holding that Terry and Cahill get away with every corner, free kick etc.....the art of defending that is part of the game, always has been always will be. You have to be stronger to get to the ball. If you want to cry about referees then lets look at the penalties United should have had this season and have not been given. 2 against Swansea, 2 against Sunderland, 1 against Burnley, 1 against West Brom and also look at the penalties given against us that never were.....Leicester and Everton.....again, surprisingly no mention yet it is United that always cry about referees!!!! This thread is comical, the lack of football knowledge here is embarrassing.....stick to the Canucks and hockey boys where you can continue to whinge about referees until your heart is content
  2. Ancelotti took Enrique to school in the second half. Madrid were magnificent second half, Isco and Modric just terrific
  3. sent you a message.....hope that helps. looks like Southampton are going 2nd!!!
  4. granted, you don't hear it as much as you did before Mansoor's billions. The fact is though, the only game that sells out at City is the derby. I don't suppose we will ever agree on this so lets move on ;-) How long does Audrey Roberts have left? He desperately needs a performance and a result next Sunday!!!
  5. 100% agree. He would look rather foolish if he went to Bayern after all he has said. Only place I can see him going is Real.....I would love him at United though
  6. metro.....hahaha...Eklund is more reliable!!!! we'll see though......I would happily have a hefty wager he does not end up at Anfield
  7. The MEN are reporting this morning that there is no contract offer nor does the player want one. Van Gaal has invited him to train to help his recovery from injury.....that makes more sense. Valdes is looking for a number 1 spot somewhere, apparently he turned down invites to train with Liverpool and Arsenal
  8. Victor Valdes training with United with a view to a permanent 2 year deal.....fantastic back up for De Gea. Along with his vast experience, Valdes distribution is terrific, an area DDG can really improve in. Hope it works out for him
  9. Not on his wages! He cant even get in to the Italian national side, that's how highly he is thought of at home
  10. one last post for tonight, VIVA RONALDO, all my scouse pals are very quiet tonight.....maybe next year eh? ha ha ha ha
  11. Fellaini is not a holding or defensive midfielder, if he plays, it has to be in a more advanced role, probably at the expense of Mata. My preferred line up is: De Gea Rafa Jones Rojo Shaw Blind Hererra Di Maria Mata Rooney Falcao Reus would be a great signing but I think he will go to Real and I agree, I would love Pogba back but there is no chance he would come unfortunately. Fergie made a massive mistake with him!! Honestly, forget Ronaldo, it is not happening. The problem is that it is highly unlikely we can sign any really big players in January, especially those still in the Champions League, clubs just will not sell them. Roll on the summer, if we can get players like Falcao, Di Maria and Blind without Champions League football, think what we will do next year when we have it!!!
  12. That message is sent out only if you agree at the start of the season for the automatic opt in of European games. That ticket holder obviously did then didn't pay for his Olympiacos ticket. Dress it up anyway you like but City's support is woeful for such a "massive club"
  13. Fellaini's goal was a peach, he is very capable of that, needs to take his chance now and play like that when selected. I think the thing with Pique is he was quoted in the summer saying that he loves Man United and has great respect for Van Gaal so the media have seen this, our need for defenders is obvious and linked the two. Pique is good but not sure he is what we need. We need someone who is going to take control, be vocal and be a leader at the back. Not sure Pique is that player, he is very quiet. It is supposed to be a done deal with Alves, his agent was out in Manchester with Van Gaal and Woodward last week and his agent is supposed to have told a few local reporters that they have signed a pre contract agreement with United. No way Ronaldo can come home yet, his buyout clause is 1 billion Euros, wouldn't be surprised if we get Bale though with Januzaj going the other way
  14. couple of things that made me giggle this week, Liverpool's kit manufactures for next season are New Balance, Slippy G must be delighted about that. Man City are offering a buy one get one free deal on tickets for their home Champions League game against CSKA. That's embarrassing.....and they are currently building an extension on the Emptyhad so they will have even more empty seats. It'll look good on for their financial fair play records though I'm sure
  15. United are great to watch right now but that's another 2 points thrown away last night......our defence is woeful. Chelsea and City next!
  16. Koeman won manager of the month, he is doing a great job there. Proper football club, well run with a great academy. Just won the player (Pelle) too, well deserved
  17. must admit De Gea is a year or so behind where I thought he would be in his development but he has plenty time....delighted he is committed to United. Confirmed that Del Bosque will stand down after the Euro's. Pep next? haha.....I read he is making noises about the United job again, he will be an old man by the time Giggsy retires ;-) I wouldn't get too worried about Cech going to Real, he is no better than Casillas
  18. Del Bosque with Spain reminds me a lot of Wenger at Arsenal, terrific manager in his day but his day has gone. I was surprised he was retained after the World Cup. Seems to me that Spain have been well and truly sussed out and need to change their style of play accordingly. Doesn't seem to be a "plan B" with them. f Del Bosque did get the tin tack, who would be the next manager? Do Spain promote from within, like the U21s coach or something? All the stories in Manchester just now is that Mata will leave in January in a swap with Roma for Strootman or Juventus for Vidal. Huge mistake in my opinion, we are a far better side when Mata plays. I wouldn't mind Strootman, not keen on Vidal but neither at the expense of Mata De Gea has just agreed a 5 years £135,000 a week extension :-) Also talk of Cech going to Real in January too....makes sense that one, can see that happening
  19. What is it with Spain mate? Their movement up front is woeful, very easy to defend against, even Skrtel managed it!!! Is Del Bosque under pressure? Have to believe that De Gea will be in goal for the next game, he has been sensational for us. Last week against Everton was as good a goalkeeping display as I've ever seen. Incredible. Also baffles me how Mata cant get in that squad. There are a few who sit around me at Old Trafford willing to sell him in January, I don't get that. For me he is United's best "number 10" and should play there behind Rooney and Falcao. Van Persie needs to do more, much more in my opinion.
  20. Scotland the brave. Congratulations and thank you Scotland. Never been more proud to be a Scot
