  1. Just as long as the guy keeps munching big minutes against older competition I don't care how many points he puts up. He's in good hands.
  2. Very well said. +1
  3. I think Boeser will be a top-3 Calder candidate by Christmas.
  4. That's a ridiculous statement.
  5. Boeser belongs in the NHL.
  6. The Carolina Hurricanes. I love what Ron Francis has been doing there for the last few years, and I especially love how that team's been drafting in all 7 rounds. Also, ever since I've been watching hockey, they've always found a way to be one of the feel good stories of the NHL as long as they've made the playoffs. I love their logo, their colours, their goal horn, and I believe that they aren't given enough credit for having one of the more passionate fanbases in the league (no matter what their attendance in the last few seasons suggests). During the playoffs, that joint is rumblin', and I'm 100% certain that they'll be back there soon. I love my Cardiac 'Canes.
  7. Thank you! I'm picking at 3 out of 8 teams. What is your best mock up for picks (honorable mentions included) 3, 14, 19, 30, and so on? Anyone feel free to chime in it's 27 minutes to draft time!
  8. Alright CDC, I need some help. My first NFL fantasy league draft is today. It's pretty standard with only one QB, two running backs, two wide receivers, tight end, w/r, kicker, defensive team, and bench. I'm pretty high on the Chiefs and Bengals so I've zeroed in on guys like A.J. Green, Kareem Hunt, Joe Mixon, Travis Kelce, Andy Dalton, etc. Any pointers are appreciated. Who projected to go between picks 50-150 should I not sleep on? Also when it comes to bench spots, which positions should I focus on? Thanks guys!
  9. Victor Hedman. Easily the most underrated star in the NHL.
  10. Where's the best place to go for NFL fantasy advice? Or is there anyone here willing to give me a leg up? Positions: QB (1), RB (2), WR (2), TE (1) WR/RB (1), K (1), D (1), Bench (6). Anything helps. Thanks all!
  11. Whe does the main event start?
  12. Thank you to @Phil The Thrill for the ever so smooth negotiations. I think this is a great deal for both sides, and although it hurt losing coo-coo and a pick, me and @J-23 filled what we thought were two very important needs for our organization. Gallagher, Zucker and Nyquist are on the block. At this point we're not looking for anything in particular, but if there's something that makes sense for us then we'll make the deal. Cheers!
  13. Tampa is looking to add another NHL goalie and some younger forwards who are ready to break into the league for this season. PM me if you want to talk business.
  14. I'm definitely going to get flamed for this but I think that there is going to be an '06 final rematch. You heard it here first. I think the Hurricanes have slowly evolved into the Nashville Predators of the east and are the next team to take the hockey world by surprise. If Darling can man the front for the Canes then I think they're going to march their way all the way to the finals - but the Oilers are going to take the cake this time. Anyone think I'm out to lunch?
  15. I think the Oilers are the cup champions next season.
