  1. Kristoffer Gunnarsson | D

I don't think the problem is that they play them in top 4 roles as much as we have no one else to play those top 4 roles...
  2. Viking clap.. Our new cheer?

This would be an amazing way to start each game. The other team skates out alone to start their warm up and then the lights go out and the rink gets an almost too quiet feel settling in over it.. then the first clap hits hard, lights flash, startling the unexpected opposition, letting them know the silence is a farce and they are surrounded. Then the next clap hits and the lights start coming on slowly revealing a steadfast crowd and a hungry young Canucks team that seemingly appeared out of no where while the lights where out. Then the as the clapping quickens, the noise rises, setting the stage for a huge burst of energy every game.. Who's with me!!
  3. If Edler is made captain, I will not watch a single game next year. Can't stand his demeanor, or unwillingness to accept a trade to help out the team. Horvat or no one next season
  4. Matt Brassard | D

Thanks for being so diligent towards keeping us updated on the going ons with out prospects. I’d be lost without you hahhaa
  5. I agree there are some dirty rats in the NHL but there will be many more in the AHL trying to make a name for themselves. If he isn’t there talent wise, which im sure he is then it’s back to SHL for him in my opinion
  6. So what happens if he gets smashed by a big guy in the AHL? More uncontrolled big players in the AHL then the NHL
  7. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

Wow is that ever a sad place to visit, nothing but negativity and crying
  8. To everyone saying he need to go down to the AHL to get use to the physicality, do you think the AHL is full of small guys??? The AHL may be a rougher league then the NHL, with some very big hard hitting bodies down there. The safest spot may be in the big leagues?
  9. Elias Pettersson | C/RW

You could say that for any player in the nhl veteran or rookie. When a 230 guy hits you at full speed it won’t matter who you are, you can get injured. Is it a risk, sure why not but more players aren’t getting career ending injuries then are... what im trying to say is at 175-180 he should be ok and if not then it was only a matter of time
  10. Scr*w the Whiners and the Bandwagoners

You can critique anyone you want but there is a difference between whining and critiquing. Usually a critique is backed up with some knowledge or facts, not just whaaaaaaa whaaaaaaa everyone listen to me cry and then let me get mad when people tell me to stop crying.
  11. Scr*w the Whiners and the Bandwagoners

I would of made some trades for sure if I was the oilers GM a few hears back, Id be making trades now for D if I was edmonton. I’ve never seen such bad luck or bad decisions as the oilers have made over the last ten seasons...
  12. Scr*w the Whiners and the Bandwagoners

It almost sounds like you have been the GM of a NHL franchise before!!
  13. Scr*w the Whiners and the Bandwagoners

Cool story, soooo what would you do if you where GM? TRADE everyone, have this new team magically form an amazing bond and go onto to win the cup? Ohh let me guess you’d pick up karlsson, tavares, doughty, malkin, and tarasenko while keeping all draft picks and only loosing ericsson right??? You sir are the damn fool that doesnt understand that you cant just win a cup...
  14. [PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. Colorado Avalanche

I agree, Jake is looking to be getting things under control and starting to understand what he is. His speed and size combination is now helping him to get to the open spots where before he would be tripping over the puck. Once these pucks start hitting the net, and I think they will as he was touted for his wrist shot as well as his speed when drafted. We may just have that 25+ goal scoring powerforward we thought he was going to be.
  15. What Former Canuck would you Draft today to help this team

Since it’s any canuck player to choose from I’d go with Mats Sundin
