    If you go into a store or business of some sort and one of the workers asks you out or for your number are you flattered or do you consider it inappropriate and out of line? Has it happened to you or have you done this? Curious to see how people feel about it

      Nope. Unless I'm in a social situation, I want to be left alone. Already have to chat up enough total strangers at work. Don't like being approached by them in my free time no matter what they look like and why they're doing it.

      I've had this happen to me a few times, but I have never ask anyone out while on the job at past jobs. It's not inappropriate, I find it flattering.

      This one particular time, I had been going to this coffee shop and my boyfriend at the time would come with me now and then, and the guy behind the counter would be really nice to me and happy to see me, and then when my boyfriend got up to order, the guy was not nice. The guy asked me out one day. I said no, I was with someone else. I told my boyfriend about it, and every time we walked by the coffee shop, my boyfriend would hold my hand and stare at the guy.
