I would hate to witness where they're pouring those lunch beers.

What is your favorite Canucks game of the last decade? (2010-2020)
Ralph. replied to Laheys Liquor's topic in Canucks Talk
I was at that game, and remember reading about his comments later and just laughing, and laughing. One of the best games I've ever attended. Normally I don't relish running the score up on teams, but to see it done against a team like LA, who I have always hated, was so joyful. The pregame ceremony naming Bo captain and seeing Hughes' first goal were both treats. Lots of great moments from that one. Toffoli scored against us too. -
Was also their health critic. and was going to campaign for leader.

Yeah, even when I've seen "favourable" references to using these drugs, nothing even close to that 100% has been used. This lady should not be an MP.

Cue the "Obama planted coronavirus in China in 2014" conspiracies.

^ Should save me a whole $2.00 on my next bill.

But they're not, they're offering $2, 000. Which, incidentally, is pretty close to what people making minimum wage (at least in BC) and normally working 37.5-40 hrs/week make. What's the problem?

Question for Indo-Canadians who grew up in those big houses
Ralph. replied to canuckster19's topic in Off-Topic General
I wasn't pushed out, but I started paying rent to them the second I turned 18 and for all intents and purposes, was self-sufficient. Mom maybe picked up a few things for me here and there when she went shopping, but other than that nada. Now, we (my two sisters, mom, dad, and myself) are all spread out and don't get to visit each other nearly as much as we would like. I am also envious of families smart enough to structure themselves this way; the advantages are obvious and so conductive to setting each other up for success. -
I live in a building which, since I've moved in, I've discovered houses some pretty shady peeps (two incidences of everyone's mailboxes being smashed/ripped into, someone spraypainted very unbecoming remarks about a man named "Perry" up and down our stairwell, etc...) but there are various small, quiet families living in it too. Coming home from work yesterday there was a note on the inside of our front door — Someone stating they've made themselves available to assist elderly and at-risk people in the building with their necessary tasks (grocery shopping and the like) during the outbreak, with their contact info and apartment number. Caught me a bit off guard with recent observances in the place, but it was refreshing to see someone with a positive reaction to this whole thing.

It would reaaaaally take a lot of stress off a lot of people if they could find a way to do it. Myself included. Good on you for doing it voluntarily.

Woo! The reason I'm always glued here on trade deadline days, draft day, Free Agency day... Thank you for all your hard work, VC! -
Sure starting to feel like it. It's sad how many extraneous people are inserting themselves so devotedly into this protest in the name of Indigenous rights.
