  1. Or he could end up signing with a different SHL team. I think they truly intend to decide after training camp. Young stars could possibly be enough of an indication to make a decision if Dahlen plays extremely well.
  2. no scrimmage for lockwood. did he leave the camp early?
  3. Since @UticaHockeyis so cranky I have no problem saying this. The farm is there to feed the famine. Utica is getting good fringe NHLers this year for the top of the roster to start the year, and then those guys are going to be gone for stretches to help the big club. Just like every year. One of the only teams you see consistently signing really good AHL players is the chicago wolves and they haven't done much in awhile. There are some actual scoring prospects in the system now. Those guys plus more fringe NHLers will make for a stronger roster in Utica this year. I don't see any need for urgency in regards to signing more AHL depth.
  4. Im interested to hear who people compare Kole Lind to?
  5. Good for him and the family. some things are worth leaving money on the table. I have a feeling he is going to have a couple good years in Anaheim. Being close to the family is good for an older guy
  6. i get what your saying, but wtf are you talking about?
  7. problem is Gagner is dead weight 5v5. this team is going to be bad probably, I don't see him having anything close to the season he had with CBJ, here. I'd much rather try the Jordan Weal experiment on a short term deal.
  8. The NCAA prospects are on the roster so yeah, looks like chip is giving praise there.
  9. users forget how a forum is supposed to work all the time around here. Best to ignore it
  10. In Van training with the guys who stayed in town. nothing more to report.
  11. Petersson or mittlestadt makar or heiskanen in a perfect situation Canucks take one of the d men with 3rd oa from Dallas and feel comfortable reaching a bit to take petersson at 5. Mittlestadt is going to get stronger. NCAA players, especially those who play for a big ten school, have access to the finest facilities and strength coaching available. There is a huge emphasis on fitness in college sports. Those guys work out hard 5 days a week.
  12. look for his International highlights to see him remain the best skater on the ice against quality competition.
  13. what you described is how trade deadline trades work. you have players that you likely wont resign next year so you trade them before their contract runs out. every GM in the league is on the phones saying "i've got this guy, what would you pay for him?".
  14. I would totally play hockey in Australia
  15. Mittlestadt or Makar for me.
