Canucks to celebrate Pride Night on Friday vs. Flames

Thanks for the heads up. I guess it makes it easier when you take them out of the equations. -
Canucks to celebrate Pride Night on Friday vs. Flames

I meant the Russians on our team Kravtovs and Podz(although not sure he is in the lineup currently). As far as Russia goes, I wouldn't put anything past them. -

Any news on if the other Russian players are also opting out of Pride jersey warmup? -
The Horvat trade just keeps looking better

Honestly have loved his work at TSN. He started off with little bits on Overdrive with Hayes and O'Neil. Basically was too good for radio and quickly got moved up to more primetime spots including features on this past Tradecenter. Has a good players take and love the small Canucks stories he throws in time to time.

Hockey contract questions here. Is it possible for us to trade Brock and only retain salary for this year of his contract? Or if you retain does it need to be for the length of the contract? I feel like since we've already written off this year, it doesn't hurt to retain some of his contact this year. If we retain past this year it hinders our cap management for the re-tool so it would be nice if it was possible to only retain on a single year

Edit- Rick Tocchet Expected To Be Next Head Coach
Spitfire_Spiky replied to BertaNuck's topic in Canucks Talk
Unless the questions is "Which coach will help the Canucks get the best odds in the 2023 entry draft?" Tocchet would be my last choice. He hasn't won anywhere as a head coach and isn't going to turn this team around. Just let BB finish out the season and hire a competent coach(not Tocchet) in the offseason. It doesn't matter who is sailing this ship, its already hit the iceberg and is going down. -
Provorov declines pre-game pride night skate
Spitfire_Spiky replied to Slegr's topic in General Hockey Discussion
First off I want to state that I fully support the LGTBTQ+ community and believe they should have the right to celebrate and be celebrated. With that said this is being overblown. He never disparaged the community, and says he respects peoples decisions. His decision to sit out was made based off his religious beliefs, which while may differ from ours, we have to respect. -
Hated the first half of the interview. Very canned answers in terms of the injury and how it was handles. Can't believe we're still talking re-tool instead. Beating a dead horse after the last management group. Loved his candidness the second half, took the heat and didn't end it early. I'll reserve my judgement until i see what these "Re-Tooling" trades/moves actually look like or if it'll be more of the same.

I really liked the look of the Garland-Dries-Hog line last game. Don't get me wrong they are small but they all have a bit of bite/snarl to their respective games which you need when you're a smaller player. When Hogs laid out 6'6" Zohorna you just knew that line wasn't taking any sh*t from anyone and they were rewarded for it.

That is correct, if you ever catch the on ice cameras you'll notice the adds are different then the above ice view of the adds as they don't have the overlay working on those cameras.

The actual adds in the arena along the boards haven't changed, the problem this season is the adds are on another level with the broadcasters casting their own adds along the boards for the game feeds on TV. They have been doing the in glass adds for a couple seasons now but the new live boards adds are terrible. It gets so bad/distracting that sometimes the goalies heads disappear into the adds being projected along the boards. They really need to improve the technology

Gotta agree after tonight. Did nothing to impress and was only noticeable in a bad way.

Doubt they break that line up after Petey put up 5 points last night.
