    Evander Kane certainly a popular guy apparently.

      What makes you think Kane will bring this team a cup?   Don't get me wrong, he has talent, but he is the black hole of morale on every team he's been on, with the Sabres just being the latest victim.  He hasn't won a cup yet, and I think its his own attitude which helped contribute to that.

      Where in that did you read that I said, or even inferred, that Kane could or would bring a Cup by himself?

       

      It takes more than one guy to win a Cup.  I think that he could easily be a piece on a Stanley Cup winning team that JB is trying to put together. 

       

      On the flip side of that, I also think that his performance this year may have put him out of the price range of the Canucks, so CDC's conversations of getting him may just be academic at this point.  Even if he'll sign for moderate term (4 years), he wouldn't be worth the 7-8 million per year that his agent will be asking for...
