  1. Just stopping by to say congrats to @Ty Webb from turning the laughing stock of the league into the CDCGML champs. If Leicester can do it... Also, very excited to see @Nail take over Tampa, hope you can continue what I've started and take us to the next level!
  2. BREAKING NEWS: Effective immediately, GM y0shi of the CDCGML has resigned from his position. It comes with great sadness that after many fantastic years with a fantastic group of GMs and execs, that I have decided to retire from the CDCGML. First off, I would like to thank Curt for giving me the opportunity to run Tampa for all these years. You truly have created a unique fantasy league that is like no other. I would also like to express my thanks to all the GMs past and present for making my experience in this league very enjoyable. Special shoutouts to OTIS, Cal, TM, MV, Squeak, Arby, Greens, and Moose for the years of pummelling my team and constantly making me better. I turned this team from a team with aging veterans and very little minor league depth to one of the most dynamic, exciting teams in the league with a solid foundation for years to come. The incoming GM will have superstars like Pavelski, Tavares, Okposo, Hedman, Josi, Jones, and Price to build upon and we wish him all the best. Again, it has truly been a pleasure working with/against all of you and I wish you all the best. y0shi out
  3. Man if I didn't have to face Mike round one... would've had a siiick round 2
  4. Waivers: We would like to waive Michael Grabner and Raffi Torres
  5. We'd like to congratulate Mike on a great series! It was a great learning experience for our club and we know what we'll need to do to come back stronger next season.
  6. This guy says hi In all seriousness, we were hoping Hiller would give us some starter points to boost us into a playoff spot. It was moot as we got in without him and were planning on entering the playoffs with our great wall tandem of Hellberg/Gudlevskis anyways.
  7. You should flip my Avatar and Team Logo... I don't appreciate that I'm crapping on my own team logo
  8. Teams will be happy to know that Tampa does not have the requisite picks to make a major offer sheet offer. Sorry to let you guys down, I was hoping it would be an annual tradition.
  9. "So you're saying there's a chance?" - Magnus Hellberg
  10. Thanks Mike! Should be a good one!
  11. Gained 227 and lost 115 = netted 112 points at the deadline. Glad that I made the push and made it, kinda sucks that Eriksson, Stempniak, and Beauchemin all didn't make it, and somehow Hiller got shutout and Gustavsson got 20.
  12. Playoff Roster (assuming I get in?) Hudler - Tavares - Okposo Strome - Hertl - Pavelski Clutterbuck - Tierney - Goodrow Nieves - Molin - Kristo Josi - Hedman Boyle - De Haan Bowey - Tennyson Schmaltz - Schilling Allen Gudlevskis Hellberg
  13. Tavares Strome De Haan v Nelson, Bailey, Horcoff!!!
  14. For GM of the year I would nominate Arby, not just for what he's done this year, but the process he's taken to get here. He has one of the most balanced team with a mix of veterans/young stars including Galy/Larkin/Domi/Theodore as well as pulling guys like Haula/Morrow/Soderberg/Kemppainen via trades (and free agency? haven't been keeping track). In addition, he has Lundqvist/Nash/Burns locked up long term, an approach we have emulated (locking up stars long term as soon as possible). Squeak/Arby/my team have been stuck around the middle third of the league for a few years now and I am hoping to join the upper echelon in the next few days and hopefully catch Ottawa. 40 points with a couple days left, hoping for one last big push from our squad!
